flynt
I am standing in a weird red light.
You can see my scares, they glow bright.
And all I've ever wanted is to be ripped opened,
and then pulled under.
I look over my shoulder into a different light,
and all I can see is you
looking over your shoulder back at me.
Oh, and it's strange.
Don't look at me in this light, *Hummy.
Hummy is someone very special to me, and the crazy cool part is he isn't made up this time.
Your drunk again,
Another night you waste away with your poison.
Youll ask me to stay home but you know ill end up leaving
You ask why im never home but you know the true answer.
I can smell the drink from four feet away, as you claim your not drunk.
Night by night you drown yourself because of the thirst you have for that poison.
Its your worst enemy but youll never admit it to my face.
You were once beautiful and full of life,
But your light is slowing flickering out and theres nothing left to kindle the flame.
All i have left is the few memories of what a good mother you used to be, the love you had for your children was so strong.
Now if i even threaten your poison youll say you hate me and tell me to leave.
I just miss the mother you used to be.
Slowly, softly, smoothly talking,
Taking, wanting, forever longing.
Wishing, hoping, tenderly asking
Someday, maybe, ill have you.
The park was lit dim as the four of us met,
Two pairs sitting in the grass under the moonight
Your interest was her, but my interest was you.
The years go by and friendship evolves through drugs and the same friends.
I become involved with a boy, you become involved with her.
In our minds we desire the touch of one another,
And look away when we make contact with our significant others
It hurts us to see the false happiness we endure with him or her,
Because we know whats right and what we are doing is wrong.
I go down the wrong road while you stay in school and stay with her,
I get sent away for my abuse as you graduate school.
I come back to learn your still with her and im still longing for your tenderness.
You finally break away from the hold she had on you,
And you find your way to my arms.
My love, David <3

  /ˈignərənt/
Adjective:
Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular: *"ignorant of the message".*
What I don't seem to understand is...
before you become a man and
everyone cradles you,
holds you by the hand and
fills your thoughts with these dreams and aspirations,
(no exaggerations...just genuine life expectations)
but nothing is impossible,
you are fresh.
Not to death, but from birth.
A brand new mind that has yet to be tarnished.----

Through adolescence,
you start to learn adult lessons.
Cowboys are no longer real...
President's have to wear a tie!
And if I become a stuntman...
then I'll probably die.
I can't be a wrestler on TV if I actually fought?
I need...what!?...on my SAT's to become an astronaut?
Reality, Gets In.
Our Ways, Set In.
Goodbye Dreams,
Goodbye Imagination.--

"Today you are eighteen years old,
you are an adult."

God, do I hate the way they say that.
An elongated "u" as if emphasizing the key component that I am an, "adddduuuult"
Then to agitate my irate sense of frustration they ask my for my declaration:
"Now, just what you want to do for the rest of your life???--
You don't have time to think.
This is it, hurry.
Choose.
Now!
Did you figure it out? No...?
Now you're already behind!
Wasting mine and your own time.--"

Time...the only thing that remains omniscient.
Time...the real gift to represent the present.
Time's up.
School's over.
Time to get a job, a good ole' nine to five.
But, I can't listen to that:
For I know that it's lies.
I know sitting in an cubical in an office drinking water from a cooler pretending to be cooler
will be my own personal demise.

I believe everybody has hopes and dreams.
From the oldest person alive to addicted drug-phenes.
Never write a person off by social means.
Never let the American Dream become the American Scheme.
All of us have our own devine-mind.
Life's a playground, don't *** on the slide.
Re-capture that child-like spirit.
If they tell you: You Can't.--
Don't Hear It.
Jump out of the line!
As the rest watch from behind.
No more: Stress.
No more: Fear.
Disregard all: Turmoil.
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

.Peace.
