With a seed in his hand,
His adventure began.
To a land unknown.
And a dream with a plan.

He searched the world,
With his precious seed,
With his leather bag
And a water canteen.

On the mountain tops,
He endured.
In the abyss,
Was light from within.

Yet, he never gave up,
Knowing it was near.
A bed for his seed to rest in,
And food for it to grow.

One day he woke up,
With a vision of hope.
He quickly ran
To a place unknown.

There he planted his jewel,
Slowly placing it in soil.
And quickly fed his seedling,
With water, sun, and joy.

Years went by,
His seed grew and bore fruit,
And with a sigh, he said,
“You are good.”

And that was the truth.
As he opened good fruit,
And ventured again,
With another seed in his hand.

The best days for me
are waking up on cloudy mornings
in a sweater
with warm eggs for breakfast

The best days for me
are staying in on friday nights
watching movies and the like
with ice cream on the side

The best days for me
are when I am with you
and it seems as if
a thousand days are just one
For those who enjoy cloudy mornings as much as I do.

I usually don't go to places like these where people are
private
alone
reserved

I usually don't get coffee and a sandwich and
study
write
observe

But I feel a hint of happy
As I sit down under this ambient light

I usually don't go to places like these

But now I just might.
