Predator heart, out roaming
my one and only pet
kept on a leash, but not too tight
how could I when you fight the hand who holds you?

All he said was: "I love you"
Would that make everything right?
Abuse, meanness, even cruelty?

Love is no key that gives access to torture
It's the energy of the human soul-body
To him it was the tiger to be let loose at will

The one I loved was all gone
never mind, so was I
none of us weren't lost
both went to find new shores
mine was a dump
his was even worse
and so what, we survived
somehow we even found new love
