Stallion
That stallion once found safety in power
But time has dwindled away his stature.
He stands feared and respected,
Yet scared and conflicted.

That wire, that muscle shredding wire
Creates this impermeable trap
To stray too far or remain unscathed.
Retreating from the violent wire,
He returns charging.

3am
3am
Return to that existence before,
Before the sun rose and it was
3 AM

Too far from sunrise
Too far from sunset
suspended in between,
The alarming silence perches
Ready to crash into your thoughts

The darkness seemed impenetrable
Only pierced by an extraterrestrial power
The fear subsides as the clock strikes 4
And the pinpricks of light begin to fade

Night
The Black Glass shields my view
And protects me from the unknown
But in doing so it leaves me ignorant.

Unknowingly I continue,
Surrounded by the obsidian night
I rely on the sound of my heartbeat
And the fog to deceive me.

When at last I find peace,
The sun rises and spreads its wings
But only until the night returns
And I am trapped again by Glass.

Beyond
No man was meant to experience it
But we pushed through the barriers
We flew like only the birds could
Climbed like only dreams could
Air was broken and silence revealed
Pin ****** of light sweep the void
Leaving nothing untouched

Time has no value and
sound has no claim
Find me
Sacrificed to the galaxies
And immersed in the stars

Release
Run, run away
Run from the valley
And into the unknown
Alter your thoughts
And clear your head
As the fog descends
Your soul disappears
Release the fear
And let the fog sink in
Emancipate your mind
And let it roam the unknown

Clarity
No longer lost
But not yet found
His words express
What I can't explain.
He rides the waves
And calms the wind
He protects my dreams
But can't his own

No longer can he hide
Behind a mask
Doesn't he know that
That only causes mistrust?
My only wish is his eternal fear.
What can be solved amidst
Illusion and confusion?

I beg for a chance
But it won't be granted
His only escape is
Something Im not apart of
I long for the day when the
Clouds part and all that I See
Are the stars above.

Mountain
Amongst the stabs of metal
and flashes of information
An escape finds the seeker.

The wind whips the green
And the water carves the rock.
Amidst the silent destruction
Screaming thoughts abound.

They rip the absence of the mind
And fill it to the brim
They whisk in and out
Only surrounded
By the soundless escape.

Lion
The wanderings of a corrupted saint
Leaves the ground bare
And brings life to the dead
Forgotten canvases on display
That were once blank
Now consume attention.
His air obliterates the unknown
Under his tread both destruction
And creation occur.
All through this pain,
this Lion races the wind.

Engulfed by fog
Separated by difference
Trudging through the broken glass
Burning what it longs to live
Learned by curiosity
Lost by the rules
Found by the enlightened
Sinner by the lost
Saint by the found
