My son runs to the shore
To the world that lies before
He can't hear my sound
He's much to in tune with the ground

He sees only the tide, surf and the sea
He's so focussed, oblivious to me

In years to come
I will still call him son
But he'll have no time to wait
He must see beyond his fate

He sees only the sun
And the wind make it free

Through the sheets of time
Are the wings of a bird
He'll come to his prime
To realise life is absurd

Is he holding the keys
To the world and his dreams?

I know that you don’t feel for me
The way I feel for you.
We’re good friends, I value that,
There’s nothing you need do.

But as a friend I need to tell you
What is in my heart.
An unsaid truth is like a wall,
Keeping us apart.

My love for you will go nowhere,
It will just remain with me.
I’ll hold it in my quiet arms
And feel it constantly.

Many  Friends Touch Our Hearts
This Happens Every Day
The Kind And Thougtful Things They Do
The Special Words They Say.

So Much We Take For Granted
So Busy With Things To Do
Sometimes We Even Forget To Say
My Friend I Dearly Love You.

Memories We Build Together
We Will Keep In Our Hearts
Thinking Of Them When Nights Are Long
Or When A New Day Starts.

So Starting Right Today My Friend
I Just Want You To Know
You Will Always Be Special
And I Want To Tell You So.

Your eyelids are getting heavy
So hard to lift
Your mind begins to wander
Things start to drift
Your arms are getting heavy
Hard to lift
You sink down a little deeper
You're feeling wonderful

You stare across the harbour
At the lights along the bay
Your arms have got so heavy, now
They're just getting in your way

Now you're walking in the holy land
Yeah, that's you there, walking with the king
You ask "What have I done to deserve this?"
Why, you haven't done a thing

In the darkness of night, you have taken hold of me and set me free
your hands devour me
your mouth takes in every inch of who I am
clenched fists, I go inside
the warmth beckons and you cannot deny me
I crave you
I dream of you
I cannot be without you

The wind elopes with golden leaves,
Forsaking sad and naked trees,
The glade lies still and holds its breath,
As winter steals into its bed.
The sudden touch of icy fingers,
The frosty breath that chills and lingers,
Slows life and sends it off to dream,
As plant and beast lie in wait of spring.
Under a pristine, snowy blanket,
Life slows and slumbers and it dreams,
Hardly a creature stirs the silence,
And frigid stillness reigns supreme.
The snowy veil ebbs and parts, behold:
Warm sun rays loosen winter’s hold!
And life awakens from its slumber,
With renewed zeal and full of wonder.

Midnight star
Light the way
For thoughts that change
Like night to day-
And bless the course
That runs in time
No matter how far
Shine my way.

I need to be loved
Yes I want to be loved
I gotta need to be loved
Like anyone else

Bring the night
Go bring all your thunder
Nearer the light
Shine here amongst us
No matter the flight
Fill me with with wonder.
