Wild children live on a simple building
As coffee brews & a soul turn to you.
Yet life is empty & all falls upon thee,
Will you grow & become my loving tree?
For I'd always wish you to be there &
shade me.

I took a train that led me to South Broadway
There I watched as rain drops played & the ground received a cleaning that day.
My face was washed & my skin turned gray,
For I was becoming part of S. Broadway.

Unlike the North, I was no longer up high
& my flesh began to groove
As the rain started to dry.
Everything I need
I have received,
here on S. Broadway.

.. And they all say that one day
I can even grown green
& become a tree
with yellow maple leaves.

First I need to out grow these knobby knees
So that I'll soon be free.
Then I will be the one
that shades you from the sun,
When alls too much on lovely
South Broadway.

To think of peace that came to the meek
the man glanced at his clock watching for a tick tock
yet the clock lay broken
shattered to bits

To dream of the deceased
dripping with hoping

o **** those hours that seem too long
the woman cries when her baby falls
to be born. to be sworn as once
a live soul

the man holds his wife in that sick night
only god can heal when your answer falls on a knife

Tap on the watch that ceased to tick
yet
she still wishes for a dream that ceases to exist.

There was once a woman whose name was Doll
Who lived hidden in mountains because her stature was extremely small.
No one had heard her tiny voice
So she cried & cried with no other choice.
One lonely night she stole away with all her treasures
but in the morning the town found her dead
& shot her through the head just for good measures.

My mouth has shifted into glue,
& my rotted fingers have adapted a promising blue.
Nows the time
To begin the process of picking apart..
The destination;
My beating heart.

Sifting through those memories that drone,
I've come to throw out all the ruined & cracked bones.
No need to patch the growing crack,
I simply will rip out my worst, rip out the black,
& cast it up with an excuses from my past.

Deep down I discovered this;
Blue blood can never fill a bottomless abyss.
Deep down I recovered this;
There is still treasure your bullets (barely) missed.

Past my skin
& fitting for a fist,
Four fingers
Destroy the sickening 'first kiss'.
Tearing out the haunted
& decapitating the taste that lingers..

Now as i lay turned inside out,
Still seeping & with no room to pout--
Panic sets in as morning stars blink out.

I have peeled away a fragile shell,
I have torn off creaking limbs.
My brain is stuck between the barrels that fell,
& with no sight left, i decided on a shifting whim.

How to sew back this morning glitch?
I can barely lift a finger,
Let alone a needle
& begin to stitch!

Welcome back early dew..
So many hours & ticks since i have last seen you.
Bad morning sun..
Here you find a broken body,
One that can no longer run.
Foolish, I thought I'd have more time with night,
But hours flew, & darkness quickly took flight.
You find joy in beaming so harshly as you
Cast your annoying light (Don't you?)..
Yet we both know the only advantage you have on me
Is your height (Right?).

I am crumpled on this cold, hard, ground..
The only place you refuse your heat to let drown.
I will not give up,
I just wont allow..
& once your paler brother comes back around,
I will put me back together,
Humming along with the crickets sound.

Listless & breathing.
She swept me away with my lungs still pumping,
with a breath still seething!

'Empty you are child!',
Leaving the room then, to keep me thinking.
No anchor necessary for she will do all my sinking.

Fingers like flakes of snow
Falling, Swirling, my only foe this she was!
Covering my mess ( that was worth the fall)..
Blankets of white pages & pages (for to hell with it all).

Chasing memories that i had before dreamt away,
i live running after a break from a cruel cruel day.
The sun that shone, the sky that sighed,
a stirred up mind of mine passed me by..
When future met present I did not notice,
for I had caught the memories,
had caught the bliss.
