Dyllies May 2010
You built the wall
I took the fall
Afraid to look
Buried in the book
Lots of spaces
Empty cases
Never should have said
Perhaps pictures fade
That wall you set
That you I met
Dyllies May 2010
Threw out my heart when i got off the bus
I forgot to smile, forgot how to be happy
I left my cigarettes in your car and left my soul in 1999
Met myself in the mirror that night, couldn't question why
I danced in my pink shoes, they never fitted well
They asked me about that day, i said i forgot them well...
Dyllies May 2010
black thoughts, smeared in distort.
without consideration,
it's all destruction.

the mellow drama,
continues to play on stage,
while the disagreement unfolds off.

while the folks, only two,
walk out the door,
who spots and cleans the mess?

the day, it passes much too slow,
yet the years fly by in flash,
one by two, tick tock goes.

when day gives way to night,
in the dark, she peers.
and he, too proud, stands still. still.
