Could you taste the electricity filling the atmosphere?
Or could you feel pills dissolving minds creating patterns in the air?
Could you see the cascading lights punching holes through everywhere?

As you stumbled through the crowd like waves crashing to the sea
It all looked so elegant
Cause to you they were the ocean and you were just riding the waves
Down a river full of melodies and happy memories.

To try rush love, is to grasp at infatuation
Neither earnt or deserved.

To cheat beg and borrow
Or arouse a facade
By fault or by flight
Is neither right,
Or a right.

But to learn is to make,
To shape
To mold.
Create within hands and soul
Embrace.
                Capture.
                                Build.
Repeat
Bit of a change in style...

I’m in a house with too many walls/
Stood in breezy corridors/
And its cold and getting colder/
Your whisper seems to float in the air/
Just hung over are heads, waiting to fall/
Like a moth to a flame I’d rather burn for curiosity.

In the night I hear chants that have now become familiar/
Slagging matches get rowdy/
And the crowd they just sing along/
Waiting for a new sun/
Are we ready for new responsibilities?

Take a bow/
Its should have gone long ago/
Its over/
Burn it/
It won’t happen again/
What’s said has now been done.

As white smoke billows from your crooked smile
The cold gives life to your breath
I promise to keep you warm
I will learn to weave the summers rays and stitch them into your new favourite winter coat
It will hold you close
Fit like new skin
It will see you through the winter
But the thread will start to fall apart by spring
