when I look up at the sky
all I do is wonder why
we live in such a sad world
where almost everything is controlled
yet I also think of the stars
and if we were to go to mars
maybe this place wouldn't seem so bad
then we can live here and be glad
to know we aren't alone
while others sit on a throne
and don't care about us
wont even mind if we get hit by a bus
now that the sky has gone dark
my thoughts turn to hearts
because I know I have you
