Every Christmas
My family gets a new tree
It always sits up proud
And tall to the ceiling

We admire it
We enjoy its scent
We decorate it with detail
Nothing stumps its beauty

What a gorgous tree
It never stops shining
On or off
It gleems brightly

If you're sad and alone
Close your eyes
Lay back
And dream
Dream of a different life
One that only you want
With everything you want
And nothing you don't want
And look at it with your heart
Not your mind
See it as your little ***** wonks factory
Then think of good thought

What do I live for?
I live for love.
I live for tranquility
I live for things that come easily
I live for imperfection
I live for living
I live for nothing more than that
So why do people still try to change me

Don't love
It's a lie
The world uses it to trap you
And give you a false hope
Don't let it take you over

I'm driven
Driven by hope
Led by dreams
Told by thoughts
Nudged by tranquility
Pulled by love
Poured by peace
Controlled by nothing
I'm driven

There is a way
A way to fix everything
It's not just one persone though
It's a bunch of people
With an abundance of heart

Only we can provide hope
For others to have

For some reason
I've noticed something
Something about a word
This word come up in my poems
It comes up a lot
Like it has to be in every one
It makes me wonder
If I could even write one poem
Without that word
Even in this one
I still write it
What a funny thing to think about
