Do I Need A Name Apr 2015
do you think of those who sit alone
who take a book only just to look
those who are quiet, stay silent and won't deny it
those who watch and watch as the world around them fails to be top notch
what do these people think?
how do they talk?
do they step on the lines or in the squares on the sidewalk?
1,2,3.. they sprint to seven
they touched the squares, tired, are they weak?
do they question why there are seven days in a week?
but they fear to speak
for if they do they are called a geek
the quiet ones,
stay mute to stay golden
for if you begin to talk your words might be stolen
your ideas be taken
and you're only left to be shaken
you can't stand up for yourself you are weak!
you may think, it's the middle of the day there's no need to sneak
unless you're a quiet one afraid to be seen
afraid to be picked on by some unkindly fiend
stick to the shadows you'll be okay
you know all your fears were just as quiet one day

today i threw away your first note to me
its been a month since you left
i no longer fear what i will see before i run away in darkness
but rather what i wont see as i
run towards it in the light
every one makes it seem like you can just move on
but have the ones making it seem that way ever been blindly thrown into an ocean of want with weights tied to their ankles?
you were my ******* in human form
every curve a line
every touch a sniff
its hard to hold back the urge of negative actions at the sight or memory of you
but at the same time i fight a war just as major as those actions with the opinion and set expectations of everyone else around me

i wish i could have realized the danger that was to come when i no longer loved you but rather the memories of you

im waiting to restock the empty shelves that align my insides
its been a month since they were filled
even though they were filled with stale expired items
id rather be stocked with useless things than be emptied completely
