When you took my hand, I knew it was going to remain,
That touch of yours, a thought entwined, so arcane,
As far as my love goes, I’d like to indulge you so,
Extend my hand towards yours, and never let it go.

The desire for ‘US’, is still as strong
The desire to ‘BE’, will never be gone
All you got to do is let go, lay your love on me,
And watch as hope grabs your attention, with the break of a new dawn.

All said and done, I know I won’t lose,
Why is it that we can’t be sure, only deeply muse?
Love is not a stub, it needs no expansion,
I realized that it wasn't an option; it was YOU who I was meant to choose

The black clouds hath not warn me, nor the pale dusk,
With you by my side, I couldn't see the sign,
You will remain in my heart forever; you can erase me if you must,
Loneliness shall be my dinner, tears my vine.

I know it wasn't easy, I know it wasn't fair,
We had laughter, we had our sadness; we had our share.
I don’t want you to forgive me, I won’t apologize,
I’ll remember our love throughout eternity, only coming back to you wouldn't be wise.

I look at myself in the mirror and I can see the face of you,
You were supposed to be the heart of me; I was supposed to be the heart of you,
You were etched in my mind, my own shadow even couldn't compete,
Now there’s no sign of me and there’s no sign of you.

It was supposed to be simple, it was supposed to be straight, it could have been anything, anything but lies, deceit and hate.
If I had a chance to make it right, I’d rather let it pass me by,
I can’t go through the drama again; nothing I ever do can change my ever changing fate.

Tonight I’ll be in your arms and you'll be in mine.
I wanna treat you right; keep you safe, till the end of time.
Give you sweet kisses, and hold you gently,
I don't need a heaven, just being close to you is so divine.

I wanna hold your hand in the moonlight and make promises of a love so fine,
Lay by your side, let our bodies entwine,
Hear your breath, sweetly calling out my name,
You give life to my words, only you can make the ordinary, sublime.
