You
You have a shadow in the dark,
A lurking fiend that lasts forever,
But I was drawn to you like night,
And I knew our bond would never sever.

You are a glimpse of light in the dark,
A flickering candle,
That remains lit despite the climate,
Holding a warmth no one can handle

You are the stars in the dark,
You shine to give the night some light,
And although you don't see it,
You are the fragments that keeps everything bright.

You are the sounds of the sea in the dark,
The whooshing and splashing of waves,
The essence of life on Earth,
The echo of the water tampering against caves.

You are powerful in the dark.
I wonder what I would find out of the dark, in the light?

You
You stumble out a dry cleaners
Or a 24-7 convenience store
And with your weapon of choice
You brandish and challenge
The chains of the legal system
For a little profit or as you deem
Method of survival.

Somewhere between buying a gun
Finding a gun, or owning a gun
You forgot what it was like
To be a caring brother,
To be a worrying father,
To be a loving mother,
To be an innocent sister,
And when you finally,
Look the eyes of the
about to be soulless,
As you let off alarms,
That ring more than just pain
And blood,
But rings of
your own
guilty conscience,
And heartache for the victim,
You have forgotten what it's like
To be a part of humanity.

You
You are only one person
But you have placed a smile
On the cracked edges of my lips
That have dried of laughter
Over the many days of angst.

You are only one person
But you have shown me beauty
Not only from your soul but
From my own soul that now seeks
A light which engulfs all darkness.

You are only one person
But you have done
What a million people
Couldn't have done.

You have made me appreciate
The morning sun
You have made me smile
At the midnight moon
You have made me live
Within the light
Rather than hide
Within the darkness.

You are only one person
But you have
Made all the difference
To this one person.

You
You are a spectre haunting my mind and heart
Your presence looms over me every instance
You stood on your toes creating a shadow over me
To prevent the scorched sun from singeing my flesh
You held your heart while grasping at mine too
You dipped ink to the skies so it remained blue
Lit flames across your skin just to spare me pain
Fell on a thousand razors all aligned like a train
Just to see me be fine once more.

I can't keep it all hidden
Taking secrets after secrets
Till I become bedridden
Holding onto regrets.

I want to know when I let you go
You'll still see the beauty in snow
And when you let go too
I want your skies to remain inked blue.

Your adorableness knows no bounds
And one thing I have truly found
There's a part of me that wants to tell you
That I want to be one rather than two.

I won't let go of you, not ever
But some bonds become sour and sever
So I can't promise you eternity
But I can promise you my love is forever for thee.

I need not know what thou could do for me
But only what mine heart could do for thee.

You
Between the nights,
with dimming lights,
I finally knew,
I wasn't afraid to be with you.

You weren't going to turn into the monsters,
that tear at my heart in the night,
You had the care that a heart couldn't foster,
and I somehow knew it at first sight.

You weren't ever going to be Freddy Krueger,
You'd run yourself over with a Kluger,
Than see me in any sort of nightmare,
That is your type of care.

You won't transform into Dracula,
Because with your warm words,
I felt completely spectacular,
and you made sure they were heard.

You
You fell onto my shoulders,
Settling into my arms,
And your body into my embrace.

You fell onto his jagged shoulders,
Settling onto his thorns,
And your body coated in spikes.

You fell to the cold ground,
Settling into loneliness
And your body **forever damaged.

My heart was bruised, blacked and broken,
But my heart chose to still

for you

No matter  what, my H E A R T will lay upon your palms,
        And
My S O U L will forever be yours.

You
If only you'd see yourself
Through my optic vision
You'd make the decision
To never talk to me.

In my eyes of pure truth
That conceals no lies,
You're as beautiful as the sky
Kept hidden by the world.

You are a rose amongst grass
With scented petals of talent
With nary a thought of malice
You are a red rose amongst hedges.

From the bottom of my heart's eyes
You are an angel descended from the skies.

You
They say that 'you have to make your dreams',
I could never ever make such a beautiful face,
You're a thread that strays from common seams,
You're as beautiful as the stars in the silent space.

I gaze at stars but I'm thinking of you,
Looking over the care we showed,
I wonder if you ever do that too,
Then again I'm reminded by the way you glow.

I just can't stop my mind from thinking,
My heart still has a cast so it's not ok,
To let you suffer that feeling of sinking,
For it will be a while to say.

No one emerges from the depths of hell safe,
But keeping my mind on how you held me,
I have never once ever lost hope or even faith;
Because you nestled me in your arms like a warm sea.

Between betrayal and love loss,
If I were to always find my way to you,
I'll go through it all no matter the cost,
Because I know one day you'll say 'I do'.

YOU
Make me
Smile
In a way
That
Even
The Joker
Would
Be jealous
of
My
Permanent
Smile.

YOU
Are
Beyond
Any
Words that
I
Could
Write.

YOU
Are
A blue
Sky
After
A heavy
Storm
but
YOU
Are
Also
The
Warm Sun
Exuding
Heat.

YOU**
Are
Indescribable
&
Indescribably
Beautiful.

Your lips start to shake
As your spirits break
And the pieces of you
Become dipped in blue.

You trust your sight
Because your heart is blind.
You trust your ears
Because your heart is deaf.
You trust your scent
Because your heart reminds you of her.

You trust yourself,
Because you are the only one
Who will not lie to you.

Read the words etched in my mind:
You are wonderful
Star Gazer Feb 2016
I was made different,
Same brain, same race,
But I was different.
Same smile, same face,
But something was different.
I could never speak in sibilance,
Stuttering stressed sounds and somehow,
Learning to live with who I am now.

My parents told me to value honour and integrity,
But come eighteen years of age, they came begging me,
To fall on my knees and kiss the *** of my overlords,
Between finding me and growing up, I lost my vocal chords,
Never able to project my thoughts,
Because I was to afraid of projecting a rejected side of society,
I wasn't really being me.

I was like a car losing its tyres almost edging its rims,
I had all control over my working limbs,
But I never had a control of my voice and it seems,
That somehow as I grew up I started to fit into seams,
Never the thread to stick out from the patterns,
Always be the one to stand back and watch the shattered,
Picking up the pieces of their lives scattered.

I watched people fall like flies and flies fall like pollen,
And from all of it, the message that I have always gotten,
'Humans will never be perfect',
But it doesn't matter, perfection is mere mortals exaggeration,
Of what it really means to be you.
We live under the same sky, same blue,
So being perfect, simply means being you,
Able to voice your words and keep true,
That the message you're upholding is alive, because of you.
**You are you,
And you are perfect.
[No one can surpass being you,
For being you is something,
only you can do,
Thats why you are perfect]

Green trees stand left and right
The sun shines so bright
Cars pass me by on the side
As I carry myself with my stride.

Beautiful doesn't appropriate the sight
As I look upon a greater,brighter light
The sun exudes a comforting glow
As I watch nature blossom and grow.

I could let go of everything I have known
Following the light I have been shown
To a world that finally shown me peace
A peace that settles and never cease.

I have not exhausted my happiness,
And there's no creation of a mess,
I have reached a point of being perfectly happy
And it can happen to you, as it has happened to me.
Star Gazer May 2016
His smile, contagious to the bone,
Her teary eyes, slowly stares into his;
To afraid to march the world alone,
He clutches onto her clammy hands.

He whispers into her listening ear,
'If you place your head on my chest,
my heartbeat is what you'll hear',
Her eyes dart from his to the exit.

'You'll learn to love again won't you?'
she questions, yanking her hands away,
'Just know I'll always love you',
she adds, with tear filled eyes.

Though the sky did not fall,
The clouds did not shake
the term lovebirds, made small
and now are dead birds.
Star Gazer Apr 2016
she mumbled as her arm wrapped around his shoulders,
the day coming to a close as the sun chases the moon,
her touch exuded of only warmth
He gazed at the dimming light then into her eyes
And told her that her eyes shone brighter
Than anything he had ever seen.

You're safe now...
she mumbled as she walks a step away from him,
kicking up dirt and old soda cans along the way,
I don't want to hurt you anymore,
she mumbled to herself while tears stained her cheeks.

He looked up at the night sky,
Where the moon's light touched his eyes,
The cold wind caressed his skin
With the silence of a road that cars drove on,
I would rather you hurt me, than be alone
he mumbled to himself while tears stained his cheeks.
[It's ok-]
[We're all a little broken]
[We're all a lot broken]
[We're all broken]
Star Gazer Mar 2016
Three years ago you were at my place,
Today I barely remember your face.
To think that cherished and beloved treasures
Could come and go like one night pleasures.

I agonize over your memories,
I promised I would see you for centuries.
Now i barely come to visit,
I'm sure you also miss it.

The red roses are whittle and rot,
I might try decide whether I can or can not
The truth is I'm still afraid,
That I will cry and wish you would have stayed.

Now I reminisce on our moments,
As you are surrounded by rodents.
I wish I wouldn't have to do this alone
So I could be with you and not your gravestone.
Star Gazer Apr 2016
I gazed into your eyes,
And I want to bare my soul,
Without the coating of lies,
Bare it in its entirety, whole.

I gazed into your eyes and I realised,
That they are what dreams are made of.
Star Gazer May 2016
I stared at the lucent beam of the stars,
time seeped of all value, frozen like-
a deer caught in the headlights of cars,
though eternity passed, my eyes affixed-
on those specks of limitless lights afar.

O' Stars, your name escaped with empty air,
each breath an assault by those who see-
but could never look to understand the lure,
like the heavenly aroma of honey to a bee-
that nestles in the comfort of a hidden hive
under the bumbled branches of a tree.

I fumbled a glance to the celestial bodies-
discovered the smile you left me last night
debossed across my memory of warmth-
escaped from the only visible light
that shared the same blackened canvas
between all that settled as wrong and right.

I closed my eyelids, reopened them like-
A glass window slid to remove the fog
that overlaid the transparent crystal
and with first sight my eyes as cogs
projected enchantment geared into orbs
accompanied by crickets and howling dogs.

Craters, comets, cosmic creations cast-
a vivid image of an established universe
coated in beauty with ink that's colourfast,
and as eternity drone on, the light emitted-
forever remains seen pivoted within the past.
Star Gazer Apr 2016
I want to be the next toy that you break
The one you toss around at your own will
The thing that you reduce to complete ache
Or the one that you freeze to a stand still.

I want to be yours.
Star Gazer Feb 2016
The world spins at 1000 miles per hour,
It is clearly time to move on,
For dirt will surely never blossom a to flower,
And a dead relationship should be gone.

If they have moved on, I should too,
I should make the grass green and not blue,
I should make the sky their rightful colour,
And forget everything that happened this Summer.

I guess it is but a bump in my life,
The same way they viewed it,
So here goes to diminishing strife,
And finding new people who are better fit.
Here goes.
Star Gazer Mar 2016
Why the sad face?
Why the teary eyes?
Don't feel so out of place
Stop believing in lies!

Stop feeling so blue!
Just look at the sky
The sky is blue too
And even it cries.

It's not Evian,
Don't bottle it up,
This isn't oblivion
Keep your head up.

The sky is blue
And it's amazing
It's blue and beautiful
and it doesn't require praising.

Neither do you,
Just look at the goods
Double that too
And that's where you stood.

You are beautiful
Or you are handsome
Not any less true
And you might have a fandom.

YOU! yes you!
Smile
Because it's beautiful
When you do.
You're amazing,
you should really see that about yourself.
From the external
To the internal light within you.
You are wonderful.
