Savoir Mar 2013
Giants walking, china white in a living room, lions eating, different socks and a witch on a broom. Three suns, endless seas, honey rivers crossing chicken roads. All in stories from paradise. Man made and an insult to god. All powerful in all ways, praise be The Lord. Locked in chains, ***** every day. Cries all the time, she’s 40 years old. Pirates found a younger one and ****** her more. Jealous old lady, killed the young broad. Fire extinguishers, bunnies and carrots. The most ridiculous poem in the world. A boxer to knock the dumb ones who don’t understand. Two brothers, one woman in love with both. If you’re that guy, give her up.

We ride past the revolution
carefully
observing
behind the glass windshields of our taxi.
While some inhale
the fumes of mother earth
drying their tears on their own.
I’m racing home
hitting roadbumps so hard
everyone smashes their heads against the celing.
Lost in
fantasies that never rhyme like truth does…
Can you explain why they lie so much?

They get excited over the waves flowing when I walk by.
They look so weak
And I feel so strong
But then it’s all the same
I feel like this makeup is warpaint and my short dress sometimes turns into armor.
Honestly
I would wash over the world with my waters and crush buildings with the wind at my command.
But I can’t
Instead I have a flute playing wonderful songs and all these boys follow me into the ocean.
To drown
While I lay there unsatisfied
