As I hop aboard the east bound rails, scurring past graffiti

Sojourned to many islands but never once to Tahiti...

Derailed and bivouacked in Bangkok, a ***** house of mirrors

No, I don't drink beers...

Cloak and smoking dagger
Partied with fools to **** Jagger

Run over in the streets to yet again, cheating the odds

Never odd or even, it all depends on what you believe in!

Trains, boats and planes cannot find your way home

My thought now is... to be alone!

(A ghost story)
By: David W. Clare

She came to me in an ancient time machine
In my dreams each night I see her watching over me...

How strange can this be?

Ghost girl of orient ancient glory has shown me her Rosetta Stone story
She's as mysterious as the dead sea scrolls...

I'm overwhelmed!

Her Facebook page seems so real
Now I know, she's from another realm...

Truth is stranger than fiction...

She married him, then soon she hated him
He promised her the Sun the Moon and the stars...

He now drinks alone in small town bars...

Relationships are phoniest liars
They realized soon what natural born killers they'd become

He's on the run!

She's come undone...

Is there life on the dark side of the honeymoon?

What goes up, soon comes down
The Moon comes up as the Sun leaves town...

Kids got in the way, they ran away!
Broken home, all now live alone...
...in the Twilight Zone

She married him, then soon she hated him
He promised her the Sun the Moon and the stars...

a poem for children who are ill or crippled... dedicated to Geraldine K. Clare

Pretend you are happy, now you're halfway there

Smiling will make you healthy, knowing that your home is near and dear

God watches over when there's no one else around

He sees and always hears your prayer as your happy heartbeat sounds

Brings you up when you are down

We must all count our blessings
Throughout each and every year

No matter how hard things seem
Someone else wishes he or she were with you there...

God bless Earth's children all...
David W Clare Oct 2016
Kissing cousins, fishing in the pond
Young girls giggle, waving magic wands
Children laughing, puffy clouds, cool them from the sun
Blowing bubbles, chewing bubble gum

School teachers preaching, singing country songs
Eating yummy sandwiches, enjoy the whole day long
The school bus driver, watching everyone
Strumming folk guitar, as everyone sings along...

Welcome to the 8th grade picnic!

The bad ones are good
The good ones are bad
I've been had... Philippines Girl!

So easy to be with
So hard to leave
Feels right to love them
(The *** ain't for free!)

She knows my desire tempestuously
Her slave I became for her sick hungry greed...(Philippines Girl)

She's love starved tonight
For the money she'll cry
I'm flying through clouds to that blue Asian sky...

Up for the lust of a Philippines girl
And desire of the tropical whirl... whirl... whirl... wind...
(Philippines Girls!)

The bad ones are good
The good ones are bad
I've been had...Philippines girls!

So easy to be with
So hard to leave
So wrong to love them
(Their charms aren't for free!)

She's hungry tonight
For her love I will try
I'm hungry right now for some sweet cherry pie...

She's all I desire tempestuously
Her slave I became for her sick hungry greed.

She was love starved that night
When I said good-bye
I'm now far away from that dark Asian sky

All for the lust of Philippines girls
Wanting so real
That tropical world!

The bad ones are good
The good ones are bad
I've been had by Philippines girls

So easy to be with
So hard just to leave
Feels right to love them
But the *** ain't for free

She knows my desire tempestuously
Her slave I became for her sick hungry greed.

She's love starved tonight
For money she'll cry
I'm flying in clouds to that blue Asian sky...

Up for the taste of a Philippines girl
And for the love of a tropical whirl...

The bad ones are good
The good ones are bad
I've been had by Philippines girls

So easy to be with
So hard to leave
So wrong to love them
Her charms aren't for free

She's hungry tonight
For her love I will cry
I'm hungry right now for some sweet cherry pie...

She's all I desire tempestuously
Her slave I became for her sick hungry greed.

She was love starved that night
I was hungry for pie
I flew away from the clouds of that dark Asian sky...

Just for the taste of a Philippines girl
And for the love of a tropical world...
