Caught surprised

We fall down ******

Whilst drinking with an anaesthetist

So we sought the fat ventriloquist

Sat down upon his greasy fist.

He said:

We have your measure

By birth and by hat size

Domestic displeasure

Subvert and destabilize

More bread and more butter

Hold her nose and she swallows

While Rome burns

We toast marshmallows.

Schizophrenia
Dark duality
A tigers love
A lambs brutality
Cruel deflective
Defect reflective
False impulsive,
A mirrors love.
Now two are one
Now less is more
The unchaste nun
The faithful *****.
Walk crawl run
For more is less
From form to formless
Pain's thrall duress.
Now trap the surge
The ******* urge
The silent watcher
Observe's stillness.
Animus tamed
Released un-maimed
Dis-ease and pain
Shall be no more.

More serious things to take to heed
Let's drink and **** and make them bleed.
Trash the house smash all the dishes let the garden go to seed
Spurn those neighbours puerile wishes
Burn the sequestrations we don't read.

To always get the last word like some tight self righteous *******
Ever forwards never backwards
Beat at the heels and hooves of fools and *******
Like it matters, like it really ******* matters.

All aboard for this adventure for this veritable adventure
With the sick the sad mad sufferer's of dementia
Although but barely over forty odd,
In another dimension they could be god they could be god
Or an invention of the media.

All Innocence lost
Think of the cost
Think of the exorbitant financial cost
For all those who could do good
Inside they brood
Inside my radioactive neighbourhood.

Now feel remorse.
Feel remorse for all the insects
All the dead insects
killed by my hand killed by my hand
Still inconsolable indiscernible,
trans-dimensionally faded
Sick and jaded
And all the ******* that I really really can't stand.

Void of compassion
Void of passion
Tip back handing
Hip with branding
And a simple contractual understanding.
Now come back into the fold
Get on the path or face old
Neptune's wrath
Remember must
Be kind to mammy
Or face insurmountable tsunami
With a tea spoon and damp dish cloth

Use protection
Buy the election
Rich mans disease
Poor mans affliction
Dry your tear ducts
Sick to the guts
And as ever
We have again eaten very strange meat products
Unpronounceable indigestible
Full with bile and virile hate
The noun has won the noun has won.

But hate is such a strong word
To use against the truly truly absurd.

All said and done,
You are your mother’s daughter
As I a father’s son.
A drink to salve a swollen liver
Sick with sentiment and guilt.
Converse in stifled hushed tones
Clear condensation from the windowpane,
For tears, for rain on smeared glass
We travel second class by train
From the big grey city.

Passengers chatting loud
Pass under cloud shrouded mountains
Passing over swollen rivers,
Thick with sediment and silt.
Picturesque villages.
Washing hanging wet on the line.
We share wine.
Ah mores the pity (or less),
We alight into a light breeze,
Holding hands,
Forgiveness.
It rains and the sun shines down
Through rainbows and summer trees
Fly’s buzz, birds sing,
The sweet scent of flora, ferns
and everything is fine.
Everything is fine.
Caledonian pine.

Now we could talk of other things
A child asleep
A mother sings
An old mans breath on angel wings,
Passing time.

Rain fall on an open plain
Soft warm light on cold hard faces
Strangers far from distant places,
Clouds benign.

Did not ask, was not given
Sanctuary, absolution
Superstition
Blind ambition
Revolution

Fortune shared
For solitude
For lost direction
Dereliction
Brimming cups for broken hearts
All roads entwine.

Empathy
For the hopeless fool
Sympathy
For the eternal ******
Cold hard cash for everyone else
Absinthe and iodine.

Did not ask, was not given
Sanctuary, absolution
Superstition
Blind ambition
Revolution.

What's revealed and what to hide
A mind concealed
Excessive pride
Impending doom
A darkened room
Harbouring a hidden crime.

Now we talk of everything
A slight of hand
A hornets sting
A brush with death
Loves suffering
A passing sign.
