Did I Lose Myself In You?


When I think of you I feel very blue,
You make me so happy; you always do
Yet you cause me such pain,
I wonder
Will I ever be myself again?

My mind,  it is filled with such thoughts of doubt,
Useless words seem to be all that I can spout
I cannot seem to make you see,
How very much you mean to me.

This must be the way you want me to feel,
The pain is so great,it makes me reel.
To stop myself from falling, falling down to the ground,
I have to call my "good" friends around.


Surrounded by friends and people who care,
You don't come around me, you would not dare,
When I am around people who truly love me,
Each day I am stronger,becoming more free,
Til I realize my worthiness,I choose to be me!
