All the tears you've cried I won't leave in vain,

In years to come I will stop your pain.

My heart's desire.. to calm your fears,

When morning comes, there will be no tears.

For the doctor's call, we all stand fast,

My darling one, this sun won't be your last.

The sun will shine on many days ahead,

and w'ell raise our voices for you have passed the test.

Our many prayers were not in vain,

When November comes, w'ell push away the pain.

When I found out about you, it was scary it’s true.
You were kept you hidden, out of my view.
I persisted, and insisted that soon we would meet,
And yet there was nothing, but frustration in me.
So here we are left standing, at a crossroad of life,
Where a man has a friend, but also a wife
Life has many roads, of which we partake
So please understand it is only friendship, from this I will take.
Bitter is nothing, once our threshold you breach,
Only the best of intentions are the ones that I keep.
When your intrigue begets you and curiosity is found,
I hope that we can meet on some common ground.

If I existed as an object, how would I appear
to those folks traveling on me, through me or near..
Would the barrier that holds all of my secrets inside,
be translucent and predictable or hold an element of surprise?
When the sun shone down brightly, would I absorb its great warmth
Would my insides turn cold, like a brute winter storm…..
If the world crashed down on me, would my integrity remain,
To prove I have strength through the ever present pain…
Alas, I am no object- and therefore I know-
That when life becomes a bit harder than I am willing to show,
I am free to let down my barrier, I can show you my skin-
It is under that hindrance, that you will find me within.
