The world is such a big, strange place.
And I’m such a tiny, strange person.
And there so many strange things in space,
And there is just so much to be done.
But here on Earth it’s not that easy to achieve.
We’re infested by these things called: humans.
Who by legend were cursed by a lady named Eve,
And now were doomed by corruption and clans.
Clans of evil, twisted people with horror in their eyes.
While the innocence of children fades into hate.
The hope of humanity is lost in their cries,
but sometimes there are those who are good and great,
who can show us the way to brighter days.
I may be tiny and I may be just one,
But it is with them to where I fix my gaze,
So maybe I can help the good work get done.
Sometimes I think I see a different world than most,
they all put on these masks to hide themselves,
but I can see through that like they’re a ghost.
I can see the pain and sorrow when one delves.
I can see past their fake laugh and fake smile,
But sometimes they can tell and they get upset.
They’ve spent so long trying to beguile
those around them with this secret they’ve kept.
But some want help and their eyes reach out,
They want someone to love them, that’s all.
I sit and listen to their horrible stories throughout,
And wonder who could do something to someone so small.
Maybe not in size but in their little, tense voices,
I can feel their pain and how they just want love.
All this terror just because of their choices,
Someone deemed them different and put themselves above.
I try and show those people who are so sad and alone,
that they are special and that’s what’s so cool.
Nothing is ever really set in stone,
We can change and morph and then the worlds not so cruel.
You don’t need to fit in somewhere, you can be you,
A singer, a dancer, a engineer even a math teacher.
As long as you’re you, your beauty shines through.
And you’ll be loved by someone, every feature.
I may be strange and I may be small,
And there may be hate and evil and disease,
But if there’s one thing I had to say I know at all,
it’s that the world is a deeper place, than ever one sees.
