Whatever You Think
Dale Williams Dec 2010
Temper temper calm yourself down
Put the pieces of your life back together
Dont take your bitterness out on me
Will you be this angry forever?

You just going to eat yourself to death?
And have another drink?
Well whatever makes you happy
Just do whatever you think.

Snow
Dale Williams Dec 2010
A snow drop falls and looks so pretty
But we rush away and hide so quickly
We try to escape the harshness of it's cold
We dare not go back out, we dare not be that bold

But I shall stand in this blistering snow
I love getting that cold red glow
I shall stay untill I freeze
I will always do what I please

We Are
Dale Williams Dec 2010
We are the Black Plague
Let us infect you!
We are what you made
The blame rests on you

We are an Atom Bomb
Watch us explode!
We are the bullets in your gun
Watch us unload

We are everything, we are everywhere
We feel this life set for us is unfair
We want comfort, we want release
We do not want to be policed

Santa
Dale Williams Dec 2010
Santa will be upon us soon
A few more weeks untill our christmas moon
I'm excited, are you?
Fight through the cold, let your hands turn blue!

Santa shall grace us shortly
So make sure you have not been naughty
I'm excited, are you?
I cross my fingers not to get coal.

The Sin Of Arrogance
Dale Williams Nov 2010
Sorry father for I have sinned
I Shall tell you my story, but where to begin?
Born a poor young Norwich boy
A colourless town drained of joy
It's ok for what it is
But i'm arrogant father, and far too good for it.

Flood Gate
Dale Williams Nov 2010
A whirlwind swirls around my head
Filling it with thoughts of sorrow and dread
Fear is praying on my mind
I will try not to let it get the best of me this time

A storm is raging in my soul
Turning my beating heart so cold
Confusion is playing with all my emotions
The flood gate is down, the flood gates are open

Friend
Dale Williams Nov 2010
I need a friend to confide in
Someone to tell about my sordid sins
I need a friend to hold me close
Someone to give me my morphine dose

Many friends have come and gone
Why did none of them stay that long?
Many more friends I shall find
I cannot be forever wearing this lonely sign

So will you be my friend?
Hold my hand until the end?
Tell me that I'm always right?
Even if I start the fights?

Rise Against
Dale Williams Nov 2010
Can we believe in a world of love?

Can we push past emotion and stop acting tough?

Can we fight for world peace?

Or shall we just be another soulless leech?

Lets destroy this world of hate!

Lets **** on another political debate!

Lets rise against!

Or shall we just sit on the fence?

Children
Dale Williams Nov 2010
They’ll torment you until your voice has gone

All the time knowing that it’s wrong

They’ll torture you until you break

So you drop your pills to stop the shakes.

They love you until they feed

Now they have engulfed everything they need

They’ll just push you aside

You stand empty with no tears left to cry.

A Broken Hero
Dale Williams Nov 2010
Look at the many faces of your hero

Do you see them fading?

Once a great idol, but now a pitiful zero

I’m sorry he’s changing.

Picked up the gloves for one last fight

A withering hero underneith the spotlight

Well he walks in with nothing to lose

Walks back out broken and bruised.

An Ending, A Start
Dale Williams Nov 2010
On deaths-bed, everybody prays

They have so much to plead, there’s so much to say

Reconcile all those past griefs

Because your time is diminishing, it’s becoming brief.

But with death comes birth

A beautiful baby shall emerge

It’s innocence will put great hope in our hearts

And with that a brand new start.

A Little Direction
Dale Williams Nov 2010
Optimism is at an all time low

People are so lost and cannot find where to go

Directions are now hard to come by

For many just point, guess and lie.

You can now dry your tears

There is no more need to live in fear

A map has been found

And with it new hope and new land.
