I will see you
daisy kisser May 2014
I try to forget you
I really do
But I see you
in the things around me

I see your green eyes
In the tops of trees
Along my window

I see your lips
In the petals of flowers
Down my sidewalk

I see your dark hair
In the sky at night
Swirling above me

I want to forget you
But I see you
Day and night

I will not forget you
Until the day
I can no longer leave the house
Until the day
I can no longer look out a window
Until the day
I am no longer

I will see you
Until the day
I am gone
Even then from my resting perch
I will see you

He throws his head back
Rumbling laugh fills the room
His vibrations course through me
His eyes twinkle
And I know...
I know I love him

paper

You peeled back
my thickest layers
so I was just paper thin
Then you ripped
so I was nothing but shreds
Now you play
with my paper heart

She dance
On the bed
For five songs straight
In nothing but
Black satin *******
And a frilly pink blouse

She fell back
Heart beating rapidly
And out of breath

"I hate you!"
She screamed
Until her throat
Went hoarse
Then choked
It out some more

Only to
Curl into a ball
And whisper his name
With a sweet
"I love you"

As if
That was
Really engraved
In her
Cold
Black
Satin

reminds me...
daisy kisser Nov 2013
the wind blows
it whirls my hair
and sends the
bitter sweet sent
of rain my way

all the while
it reminds me
of you

it reminds me
how you always
love how my
hair whirled
it reminds me
that you love the
sent of rain
and kissing me in it

clouds
daisy kisser Nov 2013
You were like a cloud
So beautiful
So white and pure
So gentle
So delightful
So dreamy

You were like a cloud
So ugly
So gray and dark
So powerful
So scary
So horrid

You were like a cloud
So deceiving

she opened the door
the strong stench of alcohol hit her
bottles lay amongst the floor
all surrounding him
"it's cause you no longer loved me"
he whispered
"it's cause you caused bruises!"
she yelled
she shut that door again
and walked away for the last time

She had such a good soul
He had such a bad one
She saw right around it and forced herself to let go
She showed Him her deepest thoughts
She let Him were her down and make her drift away
She had such a good soul, and he put it to waist
He had such a bad soul she hoped to save
She has such a sad soul.

He sits in the poetry section
Flipping through books
As if looking for something
He will never find

He smiles at the words on pages
And says "hello"
To each author as if he knows them

He sits
He smiles
He looks past me

In the forest
Is where she finds
Peace
Away from hurtful
Evil things
That lurked
Not in the forest
But out of it

The clouds puffy pink
Like cotton candy
The sky light purple
Like lavenders in meadows
The Sun orange-yellow
Like big ripe grapefruits
Then slowly the colors begin to drip

Just like water colors
Until the sky is black as coal
And stars dot the sky
And the moon...
So bright
So wonderful
So beautiful
A sky like that...
