On bended knees
MATT PUGH Jun 2020
He was hurting so bad
He couldn’t understand why
The love he once had
For that holy spirit up in the heavenly sky

He was on bended knees for his heavenly father
Asking for his guiding light
To help him tell the devil not to even bother.
Or else he will get a fight.

The lord and savior showed him true love
And put his heart at ease
The Lord looked upon him from up above
Knowing the he was down on bended knees

Remember Grandma's Love
MATT PUGH Apr 2019
She is in heaven now, a better place
She is in no more pain at the hands of God’s grace.
We know her love will always be with us
Even though she is now with the Lord Jesus.
Remember her smile as she touched all our hearts
With the love and comfort as she departs.
Her heart is in us where it belongs
As in each one of us she is never gone.
Let us remember Grandma with the good times that we had
Because she is in a better place and we all should be glad.
She’s looking at us from up above
As we remember Grandma’s love.

The heartbeat of a soldier
Protects the ones he loves
Fighting for his country
With his gun and his gloves
Laying it all down
With passion and power
Believing in what is right
While facing the darkest hour
Facing enemy gunfire
With his head held high
Shows the heartbeat of a soldier
Will never ever die.
