And as I lie in bed,
Staring at the ceiling above me,
The rise and fall of my chest
Reminding me that I am alive,
Listening to the rain,
Landing on the roof,
The sky assures me that
There is nothing wrong
With having a good cry.
lonely nights and a steady rain
Grab my fingers, and
Lace them in between the space
Between each of yours.
haiku about love
The large, black birds,
They crowed at each other.
And anyone who happened to hear,
Would have thought they were arguing.
But I knew,
They were crazy about each other,
And passionately in love.
I want to find the
Darkest depths of your soul, and
Love without limit.
haiku
I was lost in you,
With no worries on my face,
For I was found too.
haiku
I want to punch you.
And push you away from me.
Please pull me closer.
haiku
Today I thought that maybe,
Just maybe,
Today would be the day.
That you’d pick up the phone,
Send me a message,
Tell me that you missed me
And that you’d made a mistake.
I waited and waited,
Hoping that maybe
You’d send the message,
That maybe you missed me.

But maybe tomorrow will be the day.
it seems like a constant cycle of hoping for something that will never happen.
