The Journey
Cornish Creation Jan 2018
100 - I have decided to torture myself. Let the long wait begin and hope that its end is swifter than anticipated.

94- Sleeping hours are faster hours, I look forward to them. They are known but the dreams within can be unsettling, leaving the waking hours ever longer.

86- A long day ahead, there is no rush to start it.

73- Distraction is a good time killer, but when you could just as easily be asleep, the cost disrupts the balance. I'm not feeling too itchy at the moment though. The true wait has yet to begin.

60- The closer it gets the slower it goes, another day to take at a sedentary pace, filling the hours with only a handful of tasks.

50- A magic sweet spot, progress being made! Progress yet to come.

34- The stress has yet to fully take hold, hopefully it won't begin at all.

28- Still going strong, sparing the last handful of entertaining activities until I'm really desperate.

24- In a waiting room, a departure lounge to be more precise, a toilet to be exact. The long wait is made of shorter ones. Each one becomes less tolerable than the last.

11- Landed, most of the waiting  has now been done! Just a little longer to go, but my sense of urgency has subsided. I'm nervous now.

6- One more stint down, one delayed. Im done! get me home!

1- I'm losing the will, I am tortured.

A Poem for February
Cornish Creation Feb 2014
January has long gone,
The hopes that the new year brought have yet to arrive,
But the wet and cold remain.

For February,
I consign myself to depression,
Let mind leave body,
Let auto pilot lead,
Let my heart thaw, only once spring arrives,

And March, then I can live again.
