Amor Aeternus
Corn Feb 2010
Amor non discitur, amor cognoscitur, sed id non animadvertis donec amorem invenis

She is the high point of the seasons bringing mellowness and relaxation to my world
With more beauty than October's sunset sky, she has an aura of charm, elegance and harmony
Her understanding nature brings balance to my life
She is the wind that keeps my fire ablaze with her divine smile, soothing voice, affectionate hugs and tender kisses
But cools my fury before all is scorched and burned
She is my world

Amor aeternus
There are some Latin quotes in this poem.  Not sure who said them, but not my work.

To My Dearest
Corn Feb 2010
You are the moon that shakes my seas
I am the sun that brightens your dreams

You are the silent wind in this fiery land
For I am the fire you cause to expand

You are the soft whisper in my ear
You, always saying what I need to hear

What speaks louder than our implicit gaze?
Nothing, as I have found throughout these days

My thoughts, they wander, and always find you
For your are my compass, who's love continues to accrue

During life's journey our paths have crossed
And the memory of you and I will never be lost

For you paralyze me with the severity of a tigers stare
Yet avert the inclination of my thoughts away from despair

In life, it is difficult to determine if my reality is clear
But I know that our undeniable love for each other is true and sincere

For you are my moon, and I am your sun
And without your balance, I feel as if I am no one

I Dream of "We"
Corn Dec 2011
Soft words and unspoken terms
You're like
Mystery, it moves within you

Soft lips and your mystic hips
They move
Beautifully, with form and passion

Rough guile, and your cunning style
You are
Duplicity, tricking my senses
Not exactly a finished piece...but it is what it is.

The river dances
As bodies collide
Dropping glances
Two eyes
They flutter about the cage
Redirected to the door
Freedom, not found in truth
But in shameless passion
As each, secretly
Pass by wishfully thinking
As the wind carries rumor on
Written within minutes.  Random words with confused meaning, even to the writer.
