Caught in the tape,
I can't escape.
"Don't eat me,"
Is my last plea.

Trapped in the net,
I've only regret.
Please return me,
back to the sea.

Lost in the maze,
for hours, for days,
"why am i the one,
you prey upon?"

I open my mouth and the marbles fall out,
Roll to the floor and trip my feet.
My eyes drown, and my ears silence.
My nose clogs and my body goes numb.
You make no sense.

On the string of your harp I'm plucked,
With each vibration i'm ******.
The melody,
That was played for me,
Has left me **** out of luck.

Each note that's played,
Leaves me skinned and flayed.
The artistry,
in destroying me,
Has me open and displayed.

The oak tree's fallen leaves,
Hit the ground as no one grieves.
The ghost of the air,
With no one to care,
Catches rain from broken eaves.

The song's been written.
The apple's been bitten.
And the Kaleidoscope,
Of ***** and dope,
Is a lifetime lost in quitting.

The sentence is ending,
As the edges are blending.
Some colors for you,
Some reds, some blues,
For hopelessly hoarding or spending.

lay down please and look to the sky.
the stars twinkle, but they have all died.
You taught me love,
You taught me to need,
But you failed to teach me what to do when i bleed.

You said that you loved me,
you said that you cared,
you said that you'd follow me where nobody dared.

You are the reason i came out of my shell,
and the reason that currently my life is hell.
I thought that leaving you was my best bet,
but little did i know it'd be my biggest regret.

Your voice it haunts me,
in my dreams, and though it seems,
and i feel it always will,
Your spirit in me is not an easy one to ****.

you will compare every other to me,
but no one will fulfill completely.
We are two pieces of a fantastic whole
the emptiness you'll find in the depths of your soul,
the saltiness of an unkind sea.

you are me and i am you
the feeling is instinct though it's all brand new
rip it out now and take it away
If you have then keep it
I'm all yours to slay.

Sometimes i despair the species,
uncorked bottles, twist off tops,
and swirling smoke break them to pieces.
Words with no weight make them crumble
Glances slice, whispers mar,
and every crack makes them stumble.

Our souls are not pure but we still expect,
greetings from God, golden palaces,
plucking harps, love and respect.
But yet we're still so full of hope,
Electrified corpses, dancing clowns,
The Jester, the fool, the dope.

And how we love commodities,
The strange, the weird, the oddities,
Like it's all some ****** up odyssey
Just a race to get there first.

And how we learn to loathe the mundane
the dull, the drab, darkened distain
like the good ain't great if there aint no pain
And the ending's always the worst

If we live each breath,
as  it's our last,
Then the gleam shall fade,
from every past.

And our words will echo, if we hope and pray,
that tomorrow means nothing if we don't have today.

Can you catch me?
I don't think so,
I've gone a place that you won't know.

Maybe I'm behind the tree,
Or caught in the water,
the salt of the sea,

Or Maybe I'm in the gully
Hidden by giants,
but not quite fully.

Are there leaves big enough to cover me?
Are there knots where there can't be the knots that should be?
A hole to hide me
A place to confide me
But be me in a knot that should not be?

Riddle, raddle, fiddle, faddle,
up a creek without a paddle
Could I give up without a battle?
blood and guts and fiddle faddle.

the veins of my heart burst,
the crackle of my throat thirsts,
but can you guess what's the worst?
that we're all cursed,
marbles and bratwurst,
laid on the table as the first
Born is the water star that quenches the thirst,
exploding all suns in a cosmic ray burst.
But ray is to me as play is to you,
an extension of a point leads you someplace new.

I'm found at last,
the stones been passed,
My love, of a love,
is love of the past.

Now picture this, a town, a place,
A distant land, far away.
You're all alone, left on the shore,
You venture inward, towards the core.
And in the center, what you find,
Well, undoubtedly blows your mind.

A place that is colorblind,
where money is mute,
A hug buys your meal,
and you always commute.

A place that is warm,
where the rain stays away,
And the sun shines upon us,
with nothing to say.

A place where the people
never hold a grudge,
Each opinion is valued,
and nobody's judged.

A place with no illness,
No gossip, or fights
Where holding hands and marching bands,
are quite common sights.

And in this place,
you're one of a kind,
For a distraught grimace
Is hard to find.

But you're welcomed in,
delightedly so,
With a pat on the back,
and grand "Hello!

And the town's mayor,
He shakes your hand,
and says welcome young sir,
"To the happiest land!"

"We love, as you see,
as a blind man loves,
With no help from news,
or the sky above.

"We judge not others for their choices,
throw no stones, silence no voices.
Our love is equal and devout,
Our dedication, without doubt."

You smile at him and then you say,
"If only the real world worked this way."
