Open my eyes see the man
The man I’ve been running from
All my life he’s been chasing me down
Now he’s here looking me in the eye
Saying quietly ‘Time to die’
I turn to run but he’s too quick
Time stops with a flick of his wrist
Turn to look at the man, the man who kills every thing
His hand on my shoulder, time to sleep
Close my eyes and angels weep
Mourning the death of me

A glistening tear runs down a child’s face
As they lie awake in the cold dark rain
Love and happiness are a thing of the past
As you fall your dictator laughs at your pain
You fall asleep and realize
You’re falling down the rabbit hole…
But into a distant hell
One of your own making
Life burns back into your soul you are weak
You can feel it in you beaten broken bones
The end is coming for you
And you can't keep running
Crumbling under the pressure
Closing your eyes
As you let yourself die
This was my first poem from back when i was only like, 10, so i know it is horrible, don't remind me.

A true friend can be defined in many ways
kind and respectful
are just a few
but I like to describe them as…
YOU

I need you
I closed my eyes
I looked to the stars
Please
I lost the thing I hold closest
And I’m crumbling without it
The most important thing in the history of human creation
The only thing I would die to save

You
