Heart for rent!
This is more garage sale
Than outlet
Although expensive
This ***** is salvage
Salvation comes with a price tag
And a lot of baggage
But the energy
This heart provides
Will have you begging
To keep it
Forever
However,
This product is only
For rent
Different than others
Lent with intent
Of making future imprints
On others
Loaned to loners
Mourning mothers,
Missing fathers
Dead brothers
Widows, winos, weirdos and
Lust lovers
Uncover what's beneath
And know
The feeling is only temporary

"Could've"
Can be a cold word
The shadow of regret
"Chance"
Has a silhouette
With enhanced details
That show over time
Chants and rants
On the definition
Of the enchanted emotion
So much power
And so little time
To learn how to use it
Still,
It's never useless
I say
Never use less
Words than needed
Or else
"Could've" will become you

I try to pretend we're different
But in the end
We're all the same

Who am I to change
Then claim evolution
For myself
And I
My selfish eyes
Saw two more
In the mirror
Foresight
Like glasses
To help focus
Reflections
Can change over time
Like
When puddles run dry
Or ponds turn drought
I hope
With the heart of a thousand soldiers
These tears
Will last long enough
For me to remember
The pain
I usually sleep through the rain
So summer thunders
Under sunlight and lightning
Are often forgotten
Half-experienced
Like a half-hearted attempt
At commitment
Resented
As the public at large
Resends there sentiment
Only to be denied
At the front door

The courage
It takes
To approach the front porch
Of recluse
And extend in invitation
Should be enough
To impress me
However,
Returning to society
Is a leap of faith
That even bravery
Can't help me take

This was all expected
Though
Not intended
I've been waiting for this moment
Of contentment
I knew this
Was temporary
Rarity at it's finest
To find
The kind
Within you
This was meant
This was unpreventable
The ability
To love from such a distance
The physical properties
Physicists research arduously
Is hardly relevant
Our spirits connected
Synched
Without wires
We became electric
Telepathically
Put aside
Our pathetic attempts
At being unsympathetic
And agreed
For once
For final
For I know
Our wants
Are far more than what we need
And these
Past few years
We're important

Thank you.

For every fail
I promise
To prevail tenfold
I'll multiply exponentially
In the multitude of exponents
I've handled carelessly
Through the years
The hearts affected
May never repair
I'll repent
Whether forgiven
Or forbidden
In hopes to console
Know
I have control
Regardless
Of regard or disregarded
I've discarded
All rocks
And hardplaces
That reside in my heart
I've guarded
Insecurity for far too long
I've longed
For disarmament
Like peace keepers
And prayed
For the tearing down
Of these walls
Like Germans from Berlin
Since 1989
My history tells
A story of falls
And progression
Transgressions
From past sessions
In classes
Of no interest
Now
Shows current
Though currency
Can never measure success
I owe
So much to you
And myself

UFO
You're a myth
I'm the conspiracy theorist
My predictions proved accurate
To bachelorettes
In need of witch doctors
I came equipped
With a portfolio pertaining
More to psuedoscience
Than pharmaceutical
They marvel
At my hypothetical
Dream conjuring
But you're more than watcher
You are the observation
Please,
For the sake of science
Let me bring
Your dark mysteries to light
The laws
Of the impossible will be rewritten
In your name
Save me
From the enclaves
Of society
With scientists who doubt
Supernature
Expose your perfection
My ambition
Claims I discovered you
Because Nobel's Peace Prizes
Aren't given to spirits
Yours kept me alive
Without medication
The cure
For all ailments
A killer of pain
A passer of time
With controls
To slow
Or explode it
I'm devoted
To the micro-
And telescopes
In hopes
To set sight
And tell the scope
Of possibilities

Backyard parties
Are more free
Then open houses
No limit power
Sky ceilings
And ground floorings
Flourished
On earth's home
Earth tone colors
And bright flowers
Compliment one another
Feng shui settings
Decorated by nature
Greet guests
And shade neighbors
This lawn is alive
So my backyard is favored

Naked you
Unclothed
Derobed
Disdressed
Addressed with my heart on
My sleeve

Who needs these
Rags anyway
In a way
Your vision is X-ray
You see what lies beneath

Regardless
Of white tees
You sensed
My heartbeats
Like artichokes
Underground
Knowing my heart’ll choke
If you’re not around

The seed
Grows
Into the giving tree
That relives
Incarnation
Like bouquet’s of carnations
That die
On dining room tables
Relived
Reloved
In living room sessions
Deflowered in front
Of fireplaces

The heat of the moments’
Enough to slow time
So the most
Can be made of
With nothing to be mad of
Because
Nothings on
Accept us

Our body
Of lies
Is useless when our bodies lie
Together
Love letters
Aren’t needed
Because we let us
Become
Intermixed
With our mixed feelings
Yet
Our intent
Is known
When together
We’ll let our
Differences go
And show
Nothing
But ourselves
On my telling all, the skies counted my last breath
As if, the beginning flowed within a smile
Exquisitely existing in the windows of our lives
In rooms where we speak of things
Ancient, yet known inside of our hearts
All the while

I have known different dimensions within my soul
Other lands with lovely blue seas
Is it not evident when you look into my eyes
I am reminded of a love unforgettable
Incredibly dear scenes I hold in precious jars
Of my memories

Endless thoughts reveal answers already known
A wisdom carried in the mist untold
Sailing into all that you think lies before you
Circling to stand alone with the heart
That once existed in the windows of our lives
In the rooms we withhold

These waves
Splashing
Crashing

IN OUR EARS
Listening
Glistening

IN THE STARS
Shining
Blinding

IN OUR EYES
Projecting
Reflecting

IN THE SUN
Burning
Yearning

IN OUR HEARTS
Waiting
Debating

IN THE CLOUDS
Soaking
Joking

IN OUR THOUGHTS
Shouting
Sprouting

IN THE DIRT
Growing
Glowing

IN OUR DREAMS
...we're living it
All rights reserved
Carry me into the dream you had last night
Where we were as strong as trees
Fill my imagination with little jars of honey
We charmed from the hives
Of bees

Stand up in the sea that holds all wisdom
Commit my face to memory
Sail with me until we are of one mind
Across the lines where you start
I’ll be

You will become the man I will never forget
The seed in my heart that grows
We will set fire to the wind and waters
Until eternity separates our lips
In woe

Promise me if we wake from your dream
I will hear your voice in my ear
Your name will leave the taste of honey
On the lips of my imagination
My Dear

A delicate hand paints on an invisible canvas
With blind fingers and a seeing heart
A loveliness no darkness could ever swallow
Because this hand is not afraid
Of the dark

Longing to chase shadows into their chains
To see water flow from a promise
A delicate hand paints the bluest skies
With clouds embracing the sun
On a canvas

What a remarkable sight inside one’s mind
These delicate brushes of happiness
Blind fingers paint with a seeing heart
Scattering darkness from a world
That’s grown cold
