Down in Mustard Tree lane.
People remember the old coal fires,
Or they conduct with Beethoven.
Or pray to their lord on Sunday morning.
It’s a place where people have freedom,
where they walk their dog or water their plants.
It’s a place where People listen to Liam & Noel Gallagher
play Snooker & Pool.
Or see the wildlife running free.

Down in Mustard Tree lane
People eat bison,
or remember their budgie.
It’s a place where people play golf or the piano
& where you can buy a twelve pound fifty bus ticket.
It’s a place where babies are born
and where families get together.
Or where you can remember your neighbours.
it’s a place where people remember the boogie man..
It’s a place where people eat bread & dripping

So why don’t you come with me down to Mustard Tree Lane
there is so much to do and so much to see.
& so much going on.
There are so many incredible people to meet..
Mustard Tree Lane is a place I like to be.

Mustard tree lane is my Home and Home....
Home is where the heart is.
Or what ever I want it to be.
Mustard tree Lane is just off
Marmalade Avenue & Candy-floss Drive.

I saw something move
It scared me
I had shivers go down my spine
My hair stood up on end
What did I see
I saw a shadow walk past me

I felt something touch me
It scared me
I had goosebumps
Was I seeing things
Imagining
Dreaming

I felt something breath on me
It scared me
I felt sick and started to panic
I tried to scream but couldn't
I ran and ran and ran
I ran into a Ghost
A Ghost of my former self

I heard something speak to me
It scared me
It said hello
Can you help me
I saw this figure in front of me
I **** myself
No I do mean that literally
I really did **** myself
I got out of there

The Ghost scared me

Daddy John
You are gone
You are Gone
Daddy John

I Didn't know
If I'd carry on

Daddy John
Why did you go
Why did you go
Daddy John

I could never understand
I will never comprehend

Daddy John
I miss you so
I miss you so
Daddy John

I was a boy when you died
I was young when I cried

Daddy John
I love you so
I love you so
Daddy John

I was not sure if I'd done
Something wrong

Daddy John
Come back
Come back
Daddy John

Or if it was my fault
You left for me never to see you again

Daddy John
Don't go
Don't go
Daddy John

I never got a chance to say good bye.
I never got a chance to ask you why

Daddy John
Good Bye
Good Bye
Daddy John

I never got a chance to grow up with my dad there for me.

Mother
As I reached out into the dark
to touch you
I felt your cold hand

I looked but could not see.
I listened but could not hear
I tried to smell but could not smell
I tried to touch but could not feel
I ate Food but could not taste
I felt sick, afraid, anxious.

With you lying there lifeless
I noticed you Were dead
There was a sudden realisation
That you were gone forever
I was numb I was sad

I have kept your picture beside me ever since
There was nothing, nothing but
the pain of my broken heart.
The pain and the sense of loss

I remember that I used to shout at you
Mainly so you wouldn't get hurt
You were old, Frail,
That was no excuse
I'm sorry

How I wish you were here
But you are not
you are gone forever
And I miss you

You could have a laugh
You were funny
Some of the things you said made me laugh
That is why I am so proud to have been your youngest child

You were the one who gave birth to me
You Showed me the right path
You taught me manners, respect
I'm thankful that you were in my life
I'm thankful you were my mother.
I love you

Flowers can make the heart grow fonder
Flowers can make our love grow stronger
Flowers can bring you nearer to me
Flowers are what I will send to thee

Flowers will put a smile on your face
Flowers can make two lovers embrace
Flowers will make you feel better
Even when you are under the weather

Flowers will brighten your day
Flowers will make pain go away
Flowers come in all shapes and sizes
Flowers make beautiful surprises

Flowers can make you ponder
Flowers can make your mind wonder
Flowers are the greatest gift
That a man can send to a woman

Desmond Doss didn't give a toss
Cos He never carried a gun
He went to war to fight the ****
And new thy will be done.

He saved the lives of 75 men
And never fired a gun
He did this while he was under fire
And he was the only one

He was on his own on the mountain top
Looking for injured men
As A medic in the army
He did it again, again and again

Now Desmond Doss didn't give a toss
The Conscientious Objector was he
But He saved 75 Men
and was awarded for his bravery

As young men left their homes to fight a needless war
Mothers of those soldiers see them off for sure.
They leave and are told the war will be over soon
leaving full of happiness singing wartime tunes

Kitchener said your country needs you
But he didn't really care
he didn't have to go over the top
when gunfire was in the air.

The Young boys fight...go over the top
they know they're not coming back
As they go into no man's land
the guns go crack, crack, crack.

There's a stench of death all around
People dead on the ground
young boys who had a lot to give
Never going home
Someone needs to tell their mum’s
That their babies have gone.

The mums receive a letter telling them their boys have died
they cannot comprehend the facts
they cried, and cried, and cried.
Mothers lost sons
babies lost dads
does anyone really know why
Millions of soldiers went to war and had to ******* die

Soldiers didn't only die from gunshot wounds
They died from illness to
buried in a far away land
graves of masses grew

The soldiers fought a needless war
They say the war was the Great War
but how can war be great
with millions of innocent people
Are now known as the late.

War is pointless and achieves no end.
Politicians set the trend
But still countries want to fight
I can see no point I guess I’m right.
