by Charlotte Coldwell This is a collection of poetry that I've been working on for a while and will continue to add to. I grew up on the Canadian prairies and you can can commonly find small thickets alongside the highways there. I often find myself wondering about the animals and insects that live in those spaces. I also find myself wondering how many animals have spent their final moments in those spaces. This collection of poetry is dedicated to that and each of these poems takes place within the same imaginary thicket — The Copse.
