Today I had you
tomorrow you’re gone.
The always is unknown, just like the future beyond

I said, I would love you today, tomorrow and always.  
Filled with promises and plans,
never did I expect those wouldn’t be fulfilled.
The future plans fulfilled with someone new.

I said, I would love you today, tomorrow and always.
Journey ended a long time ago but yesterday was not that long ago.
We could say time has moved on and so have we.
But I ask myself, what would have been?


I said, I would love you today, tomorrow and always.
One has to move on like the hours in between today and tomorrow.
So close but yet so far.
One day you’re someone’s person the next you’re not.

Just like today said goodbye to yesterday,
Now we both have said goodbye, in order to get a tomorrow.
