With hoofs of steel it galloped by,
As clouds of dust covered the sky
The celestial world was taken aback
By this sudden ,violent and rude attack.
The once- twinkling stars started to fade
As pirates of the cosmos began to invade..
There was no time , none even to blink
As the grand galaxies began to shrink.
The sun , moon and the planets stood tall
Protecting every speck , preventing their fall..
But the devil had gotten into the Divine space
Simply vanquishing, with a horrendous pace..
The Gods witnessed this abominable scene
And sent their Angels to intervene
But the raging monster razed them too
And his strength and power only grew...
The beautiful Angels who would once fly
Lost their luster and  began to die...
There was just nothing one could do
Who could stop this poison spew?
Everything just came to a standstill
As the monster was rampant to ****...
And then from the womb of a mother divine
Out came the child of destiny's shrine
Who smiled at the world with such calm
And blessed the world with the light from his palm
And suddenly the ravenous monster fell
As if someone had broken his spell
The world of fear had suddenly awoke
To the power of a healer as he spoke..
"Fear not as it  will have no need,
For it will to your misery , lead
To the devil within you ,do not pay heed,
Live your life well , but have no greed".

As I looked outside my window
While trees and poles went whirring past
The train I was on seemed to to slow down
As I saw people walking fast..
The children though were having their moments
As they saw everyone scoot and scurry,
They probably wondered why on earth
Were all these people in such a hurry!
They peered at the long tail of wagons
And thought of it as a huge snake
And when mother hassled them to make it quick
They pretended to walk fast for her sake..
I couldn't but notice their amused look
Though it had a tinge of fear
Maybe the thought of entering this snake
And sitting on it made them cling on to mother dear!
Getting onboard was one big fight
With everyone getting at it at once
The little people were at their wits' end
As they struggled to hold on to their guns.
I wondered how they would manage to board
The leap of faith would they have taken ?
All that agony , fear and pain
Just for a ****** seat forsaken !?
Just then I caught sight of them
Stepping inside with a deep sigh
Just as they looked around in a haze
I caught them in the eye.
I signalled them to come and sit
Across from where I sat
They took my offer and jumped at it
Without an eyelid bat
Suddenly they realized it was not what they thought
The great  big monster to be
And just like me, the whirring trees and poles
They too began to see....

The heart sends out a prayer
As it gracefully accepts defeat
To make the body stronger
So these sagas of the heart dont repeat
For there is nothing like a love-filled heart;
It's purely blood and muscle
It's the mind that keeps tugging at it
And ends up in a tussle.
So the mind stands up -strong and tall
Tends the wounds of the heart..
And never allows the heart to fall
Never to fall in love,  of all....

Often it happens that we all see
Few people, though strangers they might be
They tug at the strings of your heart
In a manner you cant pull them apart..
They might be oblivious of this ,after all
But when you need them , they appear to your call..
At all times ,their presence you can feel
The wounds of your heart ,their love does heal..
Your eyes forever seem to search for them ,
Though they might not always come,
You have this feeling ,fuzzy and warm
It makes you blissful, contented and calm..

Its still the best place in the world
Where you can reach anytime, curled
It's as close as can be
It isnt much too far , you see!
It's where you can stay without a care
You could just walk in with feet bare.
Here is the one place where there is no fear
Where you find pure love, crystal clear..
Tis the warmest, most coziest place
You can reach it even with a covered face
You think of it whenever you cry
And the mere thought makes your tears dry
Its fragrance takes you back to yonder days
As if you had known it always..
Its lighting is oh so right
You cant but help hug tight..
The best part is , over there its always day..
a mother's caress.. is just a smile away...

It started with a wish to stand ,
And to see what really was on  top ...
That eagerness to be a bit more tall,
That soon led to a flippety flop...
Oh I remember that tipsy fall
That would bring everyone on their knees
For Hugs and kisses it would always call
And the tears it would surely appease...
But what nobody really knew was
That the fall did not really  hurt .
No one understood that the actual cause
Was the inability to dart.
Soon this swagger became a stride
And also managed a few taps
And then it turned  into sweet pride
As it made them bring on those claps!
From then on there was no looking back;
with falling down, I was done,
Now I had mastered every knack
To not just walk but also run..
My love for running had thus begun
And it will never really fade ....
As I look back I realize how much fun
It was ..a journey worth  made....
Now with every trail I run with ease
I laugh at how it all began with falling.
I thank Him to have made me feel the breeze,
And feel glad to have answered my calling..

Many a dawn I have seen
Since ancient years I have been.
Enchanted woods,rivers and mountains tall
I have been past them , I've felt them all
Through civilizations and creatures queer
I've lived blissfully without any fear
I know no bounds nor boundaries
I know not to where my journey is
I exist in full exhuberence
In me is every experience
I travel boundlessly in my journey
to seek the never- ending destiny
Who am I? The ever-pervading soul;
Just to be and be forever is my goal...

In the beautiful sunrise I saw the ray's gleam
Sparkling like gold into a bright beam
As the cool summer morning began its race
To fill the world with its bounty and grace.
But today was different for some odd reason
For it suddenly grew dark, unlike the season.
Bees were not abuzz nor did the birds sing
What had the creator planned to bring?
The trees were still and so was the river
My heart sank and I began to quiver
Was this the dark serpent raising its hood?
Was it going to wipe out all that was good?
In a whimper my heart sent out a prayer
To the One that procreates even the slayer
To protect this tribe and uphold His grace
And show us again those sunny bright days
Where children could laugh , sing and play
And humanity could once again see the light of day ...
And sure enough He did hear my say
But asked His tribe to learn to pray.
He said that for too long we have been vain
So this time around there will be some pain.
But Hope always to the occasion rose
And promised it would soon end our woes..
That there would be light and there would be love
And a big shower of blessings from above...

I wish to be free like the bird that flies
In the beautiful blue open skies
I wish to be like that gurgling stream
That flows with the golden sunlight gleam
I wish to be the ageless  mountain tall
That stands there strong , above all..
I wish to be that beautiful flower
That lives a day long but makes the bees hover
I wish I could be the golden sands
To which the ocean rushes to shake hands
I wish to wish that I were more than me
Blissful , strong , ageless and free...

After those hours of sweat and toil
The heart welcomes the sweet-smelling soil
For summer is not just about the heat and the strain
It also means that in the end there will be rain!
While bees ,butterflies and ants run for cover
Humans ,big and small , enjoy the shower.
While the dust and mud-covered roofs get clean
the little farmers' friends can now be seen.
Deep inside where nobody is glancing
I'm sure that there are peacocks dancing.
But, for a father of the land these arent mere drops ;
These showers are a blessing for his crops.
He waits for them to touch them with grace
For too much or too less could bring upon bad days..
In the land of Gods thy must worship the rain
So the circle of life on earth shall remain....

Of all the myriad shades of life
The most beautiful are love and hope
Love is the one that keeps you alive
While hope helps you to cope..

When things seem cold in **** vanity
It is love that keeps the fire warm
It wrings out the pain caused by insanity
As hope brings in the smile and calm..

Though love is mistaken often
To be that found in the lover's arms
The one who truly loves knows
that it is to love without any qualms..

Love is when the flower blooms
And longs for the bumble bee
While hope makes its petals plume
To look as beautiful as can be!

Love is in the mother's eyes
When she sees her just born child
As hope makes her heart to rise
And fills it with love unmild.

Love is that which doesn't bind ;
It actually sets you free
While hope nourishes your mind
And makes it into a wishing tree...

Just when you are feeling broken and weak
And almost succumb to defeat
Just when you kneel and send a prayer meek,
And know you are having cold feet
Just then a wave of energy springs
Through the realms of the cloudy mind
A whiff of strength it suddenly brings
That certainly is one of it's kind..
As  the slurries of  doubt and fear
Get wiped away with sheer strength
The aura of faith gets past clear
And slings your confidence at length
Then does emerge the crowning glory of hope
Throwing  out the useless excuses lame
It gives you the grit and determination to cope
And simply puts you back into the game...

She was a flower, gentle and sweet
Vibrant and colurful as one could ever meet
She danced like an angel and ran like a dart
Innocent and simple she won every heart
She wanted to try everything under the sun
But her father said with that she was done...
He made her study and write many a test
He told her in her future, she should invest
She forgot to dance and spin like a top
Her dreams now looked like a distant dot
She became busy in life's chores
Her dreams had all become closed doors
Until one fine day when at last
She saw him run and her heart beat fast
She resolved to start running all over again
And she took it up as her new ordain
She started to blossom like a fresh flower
Happiness and joy around her began to bower
She revelled in her sweet old memories
Of being that little girl with no worries....
