Symphantry
Cole Silvers Dec 2013
Obnoxious smoker, you put the cough in cacophony,
but you're generous, I can't deny what you offer me.
Sun dried and trapped within self fulfilling prophecy.

I trust you barely as far, as I can throw you up.
Big surprise, it didn't make past the teeth or tongue.
Sear the throat, scabs coat esophagus,
Which shade, of sweat, will stink enough?

Our words
Cole Silvers Dec 2013
The sweet nothings aren't nothing,
each a drop within the ocean.

They precipitate ambitiously with each anda every heartfelt notion.

You feel so right, so I reel with no fight, every second of your light astounds me it's real life.

Capitalized
Cole Silvers Dec 2013
Why are you not capitalized?
Capitalized but not as granted, but mutual gain.
I talk to You and oh insignificant I seeks to look down upon its better and is assisted by the selfish nature of punctuation.
The way I talk pales in importance to You, phonetically we stand together as vowels; sometimes why, but always You.
The inspiration of You is the very motivation to write what I think.
So why, when You are the origin and I is the eager, fervent reaction, that culture dares to credit i for what You caused?

As salutes
Cole Silvers Dec 2013
Each absolute delt,
suit blurs and my hand folds into a smirk.
Swept under the rugged folds of throat.

Red and black to black and white,
placed violence at benevolence.
Ink stains indelible, only while the cut's fresh
Rewritten in medium of hope and asterisk.

Astral risks, they've got more value then ever kid,
tacking down the gray skips, (hypocrite) can't imagine the mix.
I tale freezing leaves six feet from the ground as practice.
