Yet I Guard them.
Easily enough,
They can be built again.
But still,
I built them.
So only I,
May wield them.
I conceal them.
I live and breath them.
I feel them.
In a way, I need them.
Because without them,
I will only be them.
With no one to read them,
"I" will be forgotten.

"Monty, why do you write poetry?"

-"To live forever."

Hey now, hey now,
Dont you be like that.
Hey now, hey now,
There aint no turning back.
Slow down, slow down,
Dont you go so fast.
Slow down, slow down,
The good times never last.

Makes no sense, in my defense I never forgot.
Been awhile, since that smile has been my fault.
It's hard to, when I'm a used to blew my shot.
Missin you is hard to do when I'm to blame for it all.
An acoustic song I'm working on, open to feedback on the lyrics.

I learned to live with so much hate
And thats my first and worst mistake

If I could I would go back to that day
But I chose my road and now it's too late

Now and then the devil forgets to take his toll
So now and then I pretend I have a soul
