I choose,
to think of you,
while knowing my thoughts
are to come true.

I choose,
to feel a love for you,
while knowing
I receive what I give.

I choose,
to envision us, together forever
knowing
the universe will make it so.

Inspired I am!
Inspired by your very smile,
by every touch,
and every word.

Oh,
how the emotions
well up inside of me.

I'm choosing
to bask in this state of love.
For love is our power;
love is our life.

I write this,
not because we're apart,
but because I love you.
Oh,
because I love you.

I'm thinking of love,
because
that's the only way
to live such a life.

A mind in conflict
with his spirit
will find judgement,
permanence,
possession,
unreality.
The human spirit
exudes the ultimate power
in the stillness of thought.
A spirit
that cannot discern
between a man from a woman;
a white from a black;
a christian from a jew;
a child from an adult.
The spirit of mankind
is the same breath
within us all.
Intensity of being the spirit
is the only difference.

A spirit
that contains strength,
serenity,
and deftness.
An essence
that can beam through
the windows of our soul
and inspire
with even the faintest glow.
A spirit
that is fully experienced
as a youth;
boundless and ecstatic,
allowing the world
to be the teacher.
Even as a dark cloud
of misery and torment
invade upon the child,
shall the tender age
be optimistic:
living out the human essence.
Only until
confusion and pain
catch up to the learned action
of mind chatter,
will the growing heart
turn cold.

Yet,
this spirit
still dwells within.
Even as rage and hatred
poison the body
and earth,
the human spirit
still lingers underneath
the layers of unconsciousness.
With the magnitude
of the spirit's power
still intact,
this entity
will sometimes break
through the mind
and into the heart.
A sense of immediate presence
that astonishes the being,
if only to entrance
for but a moment.
In those moments
of acute stillness,
a perverted human
finds peace.
A bliss so deep,
and so vast,
this state of being
surpasses any written language;
a happiness
that surpasses
any emotion
that could be felt
in the pleasures
of society.

To sense your essence
is one aspect,
but to sense the essence
of others
and the universe
is a completely different state.
A state that bounds you
to the impermanence of life.
A wholeness
that is realized;
an interrelated connection
between the influence
of your own action
and the entire universe.
And this essence
is within us all!

We can choose
to live the essence,
or to impugn it's presence.
And many have denied,
not because they disbelieve,
but because they fear
the power they could posses,
the power of the human spirit.
Many tremble
at the thought of responsibility;
at the thought of control
over their own life.
Yet,
those who think
about the power
of the human essence,
is missing the reality
of what is.
They are missing
the presence
of that power,
that arises
when thought is still.

The human spirit
cannot be grasped
by the intellectual mind,
but only felt.
And in those who feel
their underlying spirit
is a joyfulness
that rivals
with the jubilance of a child.
And those people
are the envy
of the ones who suppress
their inner essence.
But,
what they have yet to realize,
is that they posses
such a solace already.
They merely need to embrace
their human spirit.

For this spirit
is the state of being;
a spirit
that knows no boundaries,
who knows
of no right or wrong.
A spirit
that cannot,
and does not discriminate
a man from a woman;
a white from a black;
a christian from a jew;
a child from an adult;
one life from another,
for all lives are precious.

A spirit that can cease
the inner wars,
and bring about
an eternal peace.
If the inner wars
still wage,
the outer wars
will too.
Bringing harmony
to the strife
of unconsciousness within,
will bring harmony
to the unconsciousness without.
Realize
and live
your human spirit,
for the peace
that is your essence,
will bring amity
and union
to ourselves
and to the world.

The spirit of mankind
is the same breath
within us all.
Don't fear your power,
embrace it.

What is this breath of life
that cools me with every exhale?
The breath that sways in between every leaf,
and provides the earth with much avail.

What is this breath of life
that gives movement to those without vitality?
That enables the inanimate to travel,
giving means to their universality.

What is this breath of life
that brushes the hair from my face?
That gives resistance to my motion,
challenging the runner's pace.

What is this breath of life
that in the absence of such, beings would also be without?
Allowing existence to continue,
contributing to the circle of life throughout.

What is this breath of life
that is constantly taken for granted?
As mother nature's sigh
tests the trees she implanted.

What is this breath of life
that rocks the wooden chimes?
Creating an orchestra with the forest
playing a different song than those of past times.

What is this breath of life
that embraces us with whispers?
That calls to us with the rest of the land
to wake up and read the divine scriptures.

What is this breath of life
that I can count on to relinquish the past?
Providing a state I can dwell in,
knowing that now is the only thing that lasts.

What is this breath of life
that is fully indifferent to good or bad?
A spirit that knows no evils,
who cannot tell between a murderer or a lily pad.

What is this breath of life
that spreads bliss every time the spirit is blown?
Who's inspiration can help you realize peace,
once you grasp that you are never alone.

What is this breath of life
that transmutes silence into song?
Giving lightness to reality,
causing your feet to dance along.

What is this breath of life
that endows me with so many reasons to smile?
The simplicity of nature's air conditioning
that makes the sun-heated day worthwhile.

What is this breath of life
that spreads seeds to propagate plants?
Helping to sustain life upon this earth,
from the humans to the ants.

What is this breath of life
that sends a message from far away?
A prior knowledge of the situations beyond,
so one can be wary of the upcoming purvey.

What is this breath of life,
that is another link in the interconnected subsistence?
Where the presence of one leads to the actuality of another,
in which the universe is a timeless coexistence.

I want to be true to myself,
and tell of lies no more.
I want to explore congruency,
and cease the inner wars.
How can I create peace,
if I haven't known it yet?
To live in utter bliss,
and be free of hatred's debt.
Who am I?
I am who I pretend to be,
who is really no on at all.
I only am when I am free.
Well, when will I be free?
When I finally realize
that I always have been
and take off this silly guise.
To be scared of one's habits
is to let them defeat.
I want to change
and let that change complete.
I know the way to love,
and I know what I must do;
it is only first
that to myself I be true.

I'm reaching out,
hoping to find that guardian angel;
I'm lost and without,
without my precious archangel.
I want you to see me,
to see my heart that beats.
I want you to see me,
it requires no impossible feats.

I long for understanding
and I thrive in love.
I don't need your demanding,
just the empathy I am worthy of.
I feel pain,
just as you do;
let me explain,
so you don't misconstrue.
I need you to see me,
to see a human being.
I need you to see me,
and to us both it will be freeing.

We've all been taught to look away,
away from our pure essence.
And though our actions have gone astray,
we still live as a coalescence.
You and I are we,
and I need you to hear,
so we can live in harmony,
and let the hate disappear.
I need you to see me,
to see my heart under the shell of pain,
I need you to see me,
so nothing but love can remain.

Oh, such a natural state
the still mind is.
A blissful feeling nurtures
the heart of His.
The world is seen
through majestic eyes.
Happiness is,
while the clock-time dies.

Every moment of now
needs the full and acute attention
your being can allow,
or you live not in this dimension.
The virtue of being
lies below the surface of disconnect.
An insight so freeing,
one must merely take the time to reflect.

What is this joyful state of living?
Where one finds their heart alive,
in a natural state of forgiving;
In which the human soul does thrive.
An unconscious society
has plagued our purity.
We act with impropriety,
and live in obscurity.

Yet, there are the few
that have embraced intense awareness,
who will now renew,
and bring to life, the act of fairness.
So humanity may live with peace;
so the world may be fully reborn,
so our own soul can find release;
so the robe of unity will be worn.

Every one of nature's spirits are bound
from the inside out.
The full power of wholeness can astound,
past the edge of doubt.
Oh, how stillness lies
beneath the rubble of the mind.
And to our surprise,
we see, yet are completely blind.

But hope still reigns
in the magic of my essence,
for bliss remains,
as we start the convalescence.
As the fervor of the embracing
band into the promise of one,
I smile as the world is racing
towards a change that has long begun.

So with my fellow earthlings, I plead:
Live fully in every short moment's now,
for without each second's eternal leave,
how can we cherish if we disavow?

Be.
Be strong,
because life requires bravery.
Be powerful,
because success requires confidence.
Be stable,
because emotions must be in balance.
Be courageous,
because every day is a risk.
Be grateful,
because you may not get a second chance.
Be kind,
because, in turn, everyone will be the same.
Be conscious,
because not a single moment is worth missing.
Be open-minded,
because change is inevitable.
Be happy,
because there is no other way to be alive.
Be determined,
because your desires require dedication.
Be humble,
because no one is so great.
Be attentive,
because mistakes are to be learned from.
Be understanding,
because you may be the only one.
Be nurturing.
because all that is needed is love.
Be virtuous,
because innocence is the heart of wonder.
Be true,
because lies will break delicate ties.
Be eccentric
because the norm will constantly change.
Be hard-working,
because life calls for success.
Be simple,
because you weren't born with anything else.
Br cautious,
because society is out to make you bleed.
Be assertive,
because, as a human being, you are too important to be stepped on.
Be optimistic,
because there's always something better when you look for the light.
Be hopeful,
because the sun is always rising.
Be inspired,
because creation cannot channel through any other feeling.
Be imaginative,
because life begs for such creativity.
Be worry-free,
because no one needs the uncertainty.
Be wholesome,
because no one else can put together the pieces.
Be your best,
because life's challenges will not accept anything less.
Be yourself,
because no one else can.
And finally,
just be,
because that is the only way one can truly live free.
