My little girl
Ribbons and bows
I know you are young
Know you are Never alone

You made me a mother
And I am so proud
Now you are eight
And read to me aloud

You may be Daddy's girl
That is okay
I was one, too
And still am today

I Love You, My Princess
Know I always will
I Love You, My Princess
You are my baby still.

My Father

You held me
When I was just born
You kept me safe
And made sure I was warm

You even saved my life
When my brother turned me blue
You walked me down the aisle
When I said, "I do"

You, of course, were there
Holding my baby girl, crying loud
The twinkle in your eye
Told me I had made you proud

But I have to say, I'm prouder
To have you to call my Dad

Everyday, i'm thankful
I have you in my life
And I just want to say, "Thank You, Dad"
For all the years of being by my side.

There you were
The night of my birth
Closer than ever
To Mother Earth
I looked upon you
With newborn eyes
I looked to you
To be my guide
Every Night
Every Morn
You never look
At me with scorn
You shine bright
To light the way
Through every trouble
You always stay
Though not always visible
I know you are there
You always have been
I know that you care

Arise the sun
Another dreary day
Amongst the Northern wind
In which we like to play

Nestled in the hills
Quiet, calm, serene
It comes like a vision
From a child's dream

Falling from the sky
Like dew drops from on high
Slowly sinking down
Collecting on the ground

The snow is cold and wet
Trees they like to blanket
Within this winter wonderland
That is found inside my head.

If the sun refused to shine
And the moon became the sun
Would you ask your friend
Marry Me? for you were afraid of one
Or stay this way one more day
To see the clouds of gray
Tomorrow's sun might show it's head
Before the day is dead

Around us all we see
That thing that seems to be
The world revolving
And problem solving

But to what end? I ask
Tyrants from the past
Paving the way
For things that are today

Some say change is the only way
But change is how we are here this day

— The End —
