For Christmas time is here
But this year I’m not so near
I now sit at God’s big table
Holding memories so dear
And now my seat is empty
On this gracious Christmas Day
I’m with God and all who’ve gone away
And at God’s table I will stay
God’s table is so very big
With a seat for you so near
It stays there for that Christmas Day
