It’s when the moon replaces
The fluorescent lights in our homes
Everything falls apart.
There goes the little boy,
That smiles through the pain,
Crying for forgiveness.
The alcoholic
Pours herself a gin & tonic
For the 5th night in a row.
And there’s the Priest,
Who hosts Church every Sunday,
Washing away his sins.

Hypocritical.
We love summer,
Hate the sun's heat.
We enjoy fresh air,
Outside few are seen.
We like flowers,
Bugs can disappear.
We cherish Holidays,
But the cold is severe.
You said you loved,
Yet went and betrayed.
So for those reasons,
My trust issues stay.
