I'm not that great a writer
Even I can tell
But I do it
I write to let my feelings out

I'm not that great a writer
I don't see the Rhythm or Rhyme
but I don't do it to add order
to this chaotic world

I'm not that great a writer
It's never been my strong point
But I do it anyway
It's my way of staying strong

I'm not that great a writer
To all you criticizers
But I don't write for you
I do it for me, myself

I'm not that great a writer
Even I can tell
But I do it
I write to let my secrets out

When I cry
You are there to comfort me
When I laugh
You are there to share the moment
When I leave
You wait at the door wondering how long it will be until I return
When I return
You welcome me home
When I sleep
You lie next to me and hog the bed
When You die
I am there to cry and remember all of those moments Little Dog

I am strong
yet I am weak
I am  complex
yet I am simple
I am intelligent
yet I am inane
I am wise
yet I am naive
I am nothing
...
yet I am everything

It brings hope to the hopeless
It brings love to the loveless
It brings joy to the joyless
It is laughter

It chases away hate
It chases away fear
It chases away misery
It is laughter

A world with no laughter
No children laughing at silly pets
No parents giggling, looking at their new baby
No elders laughing at the antics of the young

A world without laughter
Is not a world at all
Just a place where the people wonder aimlessly
Forever searching for joy

Forever searching for laughter
