I sit back watching the destruction unfold,
I've caused this mess; truth be told.
Disaster swarms all around,
I'm no where to be found.
People scream  out my name,
I'm hiding like it's some kind of sick game and I'm the one to blame.
Screams of pain are shouted out,
Words trickling like water from a spout.
A fight's starting,
Left and right mothers and children are darting.
The world is a mess and I've caused it,
No one truly deserved this ****.
I get pleasure watching people run and cry,
Bodies fall around me,
I watch as families loved ones slowly die.
A sick twisted smile spreads across my face,
I'm the only one that's truly out of place.
There's pain all around me,
There is so much blood that it makes up a red sea.

She sits in the back and never says a word,
Her voice is something that's been left unheard.
She chews her nails in a comforting nervousness,
Keeping her calm in this destructiveness.
When people see her coming they turn the other way,
Never knowing just what to say.
They don't know the story behind the beautiful brown eyes,
How almost every night to fall asleep she cries.
They don't know that her dad doesn't make an effort to contact her,
The fact that who she is she's unsure.
They don't know that all she really want's is a friend,
That she wishes the pain would just end.
They don't seem to care that she comes to school eyes red,
The question of "are you okay" seems to go unsaid.
She thinks life is unfair,
And yet, no one seems to care.

This was me in highschool...

Her words shatter like glass around me,
This is more painful than I thought it'd be.
She whispers "I can tell you're not happy",
I look at her like she just slapped me.
It seems I cant get over the words she's said,
Each line running through my head.
I look at her with tears in my eyes,
"Please stop telling me lies".
She looks at me and whispers" I'm sorry, but were done",
I walk away and the heart break has begun.

Your lips linger on mine,
My body collapses as we intertwine.
I kiss you with a burning desire,
Your touch makes me hot like fire.
We lay chest to chest,
My body guides you through the rest.
Heat and passion swirl around,
I whisper I love you without making a sound.
Your eyes tell me everything I need to know,
Putting on the most mesmerizing show.
I love the way we feel together,
I hope we can stay this way forever.
My eyes scream "please don't go",
Your eyes whisper "it's got to be so".
I let go of my grip on you,
You whisper "leaving is something I got to do".
You leave without another word,
That's the worst thing I've ever heard.
You leave me in an endless sorrow,
Maybe one day ill see you but not tomorrow.

She's only eighteen but scars cover her wrist,
So many signs that people have missed.
At night she cries herself to sleep,
Hoping that the nightmares will not creep.
Daddy hasn't been around,
Leaving her heart shattered on the ground.
At school they make fun of her life,
Make fun of the fact that someday she'll have a wife.
Poetry seems to be her only escape,
Leaving her heart in somewhat good shape.
No one knows she fakes a smile,
If only in her shoes they'd walk a mile.
She hides the truth from everyone,
Thinking life for her is just some fun.
They don't see the tears that fall,
Missing the fact that she's not okay at all.
She'll go on  pretending she's okay,
They're going to regret their words someday.

The word love is thrown around to much,
We say we can "feel" it but its not something that you can touch.
We go crazy over something that we cannot explain,
Something that can either make us happy or bring us pain.
I ponder these questions all day long,
You cant explain it but you can put it in a song.
It drives me mad to no extreme,
It's something that'll make any girl scream.
We throw love around like its no big deal,
How are we to know that's really something you feel?
So when you think you love someone dont just shout,
Make sure it's real and that you dont doubt.

Her lips graze mine like those of an angel. I had kissed her a million times before and I still haven't gotten over this feeling. It's like I'm floating on cloud nine and I don't want to come down. With every touch I fall even more in love with her. Sleeping next to her and waking up the same way is more perfect than I ever thought it to be.Her eyes are the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I'm truly lucky to have her and I wouldn't give it up for anything. She's as beautiful as the sunrise and as breath taking as the sun set. Every minute together are the best moments of my life. I never thought I would find a love like this and I'm truly thankful that I have. Her words linger in the back of my mind like whispers in the wind. She's made me more happy than I could possibly have imagined. Love like this is hard to find and it all started with a simple hello.
