"Invasion"

"Invasion"
The drop fell,
In order to tell
A patter it made,
For the memories to invade
Countless emotions lie,
Holdbacks waiting to fly
The air blew,
Taking in all the hue
Sliding down the window,
They take a bow
Peace in the chaos,
The tinkling of drops made a wash.

"Sigh"
Chehak Mehra Aug 2019
"Sigh"
Storm inside the mind,
Solace to be find
Awaken to all the heed,
Still no one to tell the deed
I,sigh beneath the self
For there's no one to help
Whom to tell?
For this, I cast a spell
Peace under the sky,
Is what on I rely
Stars twinkling
Heart brinking
Everything is there
But no one's here.

Where reality was a Dream
Chehak Mehra Aug 2019
"Where reality was a dream"
You are a boy, You can't cry,
For this we girls ask why?
After all, man's a part of ours.
We bleed, We suffer
To let a man see world,
To let a new race survive.
In a country where women are worshipped as Devi,
Where do we stand in reality?
To be stared at by the passers-by or,
Be judged at the cost of our clothes.
Hey, where do we stand,?
Struggling in the womb to let us breathe in this whole new world.
Struggling afterwards to breathe freely,
Girls, here we stand,
Fighting for our will
Fighting 'not' for your sins.
Better society be made,
Where they don't judge and we have no grudge.
A society be made where struggle is equal,
And where reality was the dream.
