Mac Demarco
Chase Martinez Feb 2020
I inhale your love
as if it were a cigarette from a pack called
Viceroy
" Oh honey, i'll smoke you till I'm dying."
with you, even when I am awake I feel as if I was still
Dreaming
" Baby I'm dreaming."
I always felt dead inside
but when you came along, I found out my heart was
Still Beating
" You better believe it."
even after shattering words
me and you
Still Together
" We'll always go together."
so I will hold your hand tightly because
it is just us
just us

if you haven't noticed after reading this, I have a slight obsession for Mac Demarco.

Whispered Moans
Chase Martinez Dec 2019
When we kiss, it feels as if we're on fire
like the stars
She kisses me all over
and kisses me softly on my scars
I moan when she kisses my neck
and I lose all my cares
Then she stops and looks into my eyes
and stares
Drawings on my back are created by her nails
She loves me slowly
We practice love more than religion
She was never really holy
Always sleeping in on Sundays
Her favorite thing to do was sin
A soft moan and a tight grip on my shoulders when
i'm in
Every time we loved it was as if it were our last
We could never get too much
Always cherished those moments
Lost by the touch
This poem is slightly about ***. Sue me.
Chase Martinez Dec 2019
I am silenced by the laughs
They overcome my thoughts
Ignored by many
Listened to by few

The sky is never the sky without the clouds
The ocean is never the ocean without the fish
Life is never life without death
And a family is never a family without love and tears

Love will never be love unless there is pain
Happiness will never exist without sadness

As for me, I will never be me without the chaos
Without the screaming whispers
Without the drugs
Without the cigarettes that make me sick
Without you, him, or her.

If these things never existed then I wouldn't
At times I wish they never did
At times I wish I never did

I didn't come here to prove my loneliness
Or my illness, my ignorance, and my emptiness
I came here for the same reason I go anywhere
An escape, a reach for nothing, a feel for nothing
I do not care if you read this. It's long, why would anyone? If you did read this then thank you. I can not tell you when is the next time you'll read a "poem" from me. So as we depart, I wish the best upon on you.

***
Close your eyes and free your mind
You're my darling, my one of a kind
So taste the sugar on my lips
Then feel my hand on your hips
Whispered words in my ears
"I am safe, alive with no fears"
I do not mean for my "poems" to be about *** or sadness. You get either or. I just have to accept it. So must you.

Molly and Lucy
Chase Martinez Dec 2019
They both explored my body and mind
One made me feel warm
The other made me feel as if I was found but still lost
My head felt heavy
I would then feel light once I was touched
My heart beat was in sync with my moans
Very fast but very soft
That night, each touch felt so warm and soft
Each kiss felt like a thousand kisses
They made me feel like the sun
They burned eternally as if they were stars
Molly and Lucy are the ones I have to thank for loving me like no other
Molly and Lucy were meant for great love

Two
One plus one equals
two
One plus one also equals
me and you
Without me there is no
you
And without you there is no
two

ugly dancers
Chase Martinez Feb 2020
Dancing is something I love
Even if I am total ****
It's just I enjoy the feeling that comes from it
From my mind and my body being moved by
a beat
a sound
Nothing else matters
So
take my hand
sway with me back and forth
because I am simply being moved
by the beat of your heart
and the sound of your voice
I write love poems for a love that I don't have

School Paper
Chase Martinez Feb 2020
I am demanded to write a paper comparing two poets and their
work
I must write, well type, about how those two poets and poems
are similar and different
I have to create questions in order to spot the
similarities and differences
In all honesty, I don't know the answers to the
questions
Is there repetition?
Do they convey love or destruction?
Or both?
How common are the use of metaphors
or similes?
This school paper has made me question the meaning of poetry
Does poetry always rhyme or question the meaning
of poetry itself?
Or
Is this a poem or what I just wrote, well typed,
a school paper rather than a poem itself?
This year. school no longer means a place education. I walk in and receive a feeling of an unwelcome existence. That feeling is mutual.
