Chase Martinez Dec 2019
When we kiss, it feels as if we're on fire
like the stars
She kisses me all over
and kisses me softly on my scars
I moan when she kisses my neck
and I lose all my cares
Then she stops and looks into my eyes
and stares
Drawings on my back are created by her nails
She loves me slowly
We practice love more than religion
She was never really holy
Always sleeping in on Sundays
Her favorite thing to do was sin
A soft moan and a tight grip on my shoulders when
i'm in
Every time we loved it was as if it were our last
We could never get too much
Always cherished those moments
Lost by the touch
This poem is slightly about ***. Sue me.

I am silenced by the laughs
They overcome my thoughts
Ignored by many
Listened to by few

The sky is never the sky without the clouds
The ocean is never the ocean without the fish
Life is never life without death
And a family is never a family without love and tears

Love will never be love unless there is pain
Happiness will never exist without sadness

As for me, I will never be me without the chaos
Without the screaming whispers
Without the drugs
Without the cigarettes that make me sick
Without you, him, or her.

If these things never existed then I wouldn't
At times I wish they never did
At times I wish I never did

I didn't come here to prove my loneliness
Or my illness, my ignorance, and my emptiness
I came here for the same reason I go anywhere
An escape, a reach for nothing, a feel for nothing
I do not care if you read this. It's long, why would anyone? If you did read this then thank you. I can not tell you when is the next time you'll read a "poem" from me. So as we depart, I wish the best upon on you.
