Before the morning
With sun it brings
Before the birds
Their songs they sing

Before we rise
With life anew
Think of friends
And family too

And say a prayer
For health and love
And thank your God
In heaven above

Eyes reflecting
Moonlit hues
Dancing beams
Known by few

On your lips
Wet with the wine
On your face
A smile I find

I stroke your hair
Look in your eyes
Reflections soft
Of midnight skies

I taste your lips
Touched by wine
A welcome kiss
So divine

Moon now setting
Beams they fade
Ending still
Another day

With magic gone
And if by chance
We'll watch in wonder
Moonlight's dance

Another day
To hold you tight
A taste of wine
Tomorrow night

A summer breeze
A lazy moon
The crickets sing
Their fimilar tune

We sit and watch
As day retreats
As sun's last light
In slumber, sleeps

The waves now play
With golden hue
No longer reflecting
Sky of blue

The fire dances
Sparks arise
Turning into stars
In cloudless sky

We laugh with friends
And family too
A glass of wine
Or familiar brew

Tapping glasses
Bottles, cups
Here's to life
So bottoms up

With those we love
We join in song
We're out of tune
It sounds so wrong

But we don't care
It times like this
That fill our hearts
Like your first kiss

So if you ask me
What I miss
It's not a place
That I could list

But times in life
With those I know
And laugh with
Them as I grow old

Enjoy

Can I find for you some sunshine
On a dark and rainy day
Can I search and find a rainbow
If there might be found a way
Can I look for children playing
Where hope has not yet sprung
Can I find a path worth walking
For old as well as young
Can you always remember
That our youth may pass with time
Can you always tell yourself
That age is in our minds
Can you remember
the rainbows of your youth
Can you always remember
Our life is sunshines proof

Hello pillow my old friend
I've come to sleep with you again
Because a vision of me soon dreaming
Left my head while I was scheming
And the cells that are drowsy in my brain
Still remains
So soon they'll be sounds of snoring

In my restful dreams I am alone
walking fields freshly sown
'neath a cloudless bright blue sky
I whistle out a childs lullaby
but my eyes are heavy and ready for some sleep
sleep so deep
so soon they'll be sounds of snoring

by the candle light I saw
Shadows dancing on the wall
Some in shapes I've never seen
Some in visions from other dreams
but my eyes can be fooled sometimes when I'm this tired
I'm not a liar
so don't disturb the snoring

fools say they don't need sleep
but me my pillow I will keep
hear my yawning that I might
prove it
sleeping pill, I won't use it
but my words aren't all I have say
but a goodnight wave
as the room echoes with the sounds of snoring

And if I can I'll try to say
thanking God for this day
thank him for my peaceful rest
My friends, my life and how I'm blessed
and if I doze off 'fore I'm done
then sleep has won
and He'll hear my sounds of snoring

I've been a rain drop
Snow and sleet
I've seen mountain top
Washed city streets

I've danced on roofs
Made of tin
Speaking softly
Of where I've  been

I've touched the face
Of a new born babe
I was a tear
Besides a grave

I've  trickle down
Like liquid glass
On leaves of green
And blades of grass

With uncountable others
Just like me
We join together
To make the sea

We sing as one
A lonely song
Asking questions
Where's  time gone

In rhymes we speak
Which don't make sense
We talk of now
In the past-tense

Of yesterdays
And things undone
Late last week
And days to come

We've  seen it all
Or so we say
A rainbows end
And sky's of gray

My days are timeless
They'll never end
You'll know me as
Your fimilar friend

We'll meet again
On your window pane
Again I'll tap
As a drop of rain

— The End —
