Your love is intoxicating.
More so than the cutting, the grugs, the self-hatred I beg you to indulge.
I know no better high than lying next to you, my head on your chest and your arms wrapped around me.
I know no better feeling than the resounding truth that I am yours.
My mind has never known such a beautiful sound as the sound of your heartbeat, low and comforting while my ear is pressed against your chest.
I will never know such joy as hearing how your heartbeat quickens as you lean down to kiss my hair.
I know no better feeling of content than sighing quietly and feeling your arms tighten protectively around me.
That sigh is a part of an unspoken language, whose only translation is "I love you".
We talk about *** but I had to chose, I would give it up in one of your low, lovely heartbeats.
I cannot express how I love nothing more than to lay here in your arms, protected and loved.

It hurts so pleasantly
A dull ache, a sharp sting
I'll take almost anything
To escape what you've left me with
Hollow and alone, Numb and afraid
My breaths are shaky and shallow
I wish that I could simply cease to be
A piece of metal, my only friend
One week of her means more
Than six months of me
You knew my secrets
My skeletons in the closet
You knew and you ran away

You call me worthless
And watch the tears form in my eyes
You laugh at my weakness

You see the scars that I bear
You say I seek attention
You laugh at my pain

You judge me before you know
The pain and neglect that I carry
You laugh because you can never understand
