Grey, it is thin
When it's all either black or white
My muse, she's become a bothered one
Looking for a fight
You cool her
And finally she'll lie down to rest
In my souls jewelry box, my chest
You are like the gentle giant,
The carpenter,
Slowly fixing walls
And I'm a wreck
A pretty mess
And you're the best

But you woke up didn't you?
Let it go, as it flows
All okay

I told you I was out front. I was... waiting, watching the back door,  but it didn't open. I heard crunching coming from the other side. Sophie, she looked to me, and I looked to your noise. You came from the back of the house, you had, a giant machete, it shone like, like sharp teeth. I asked you, "why do you have that shoved in your belt?" You said, "some bad ***** goin on, Calli."

I can see radio waves
And when the dust bunnies shed,
It looks like fireflies
And tightrope lines
Caramel filling after minor crimes
We'll be fine
Not even on the last ring,
But I didn't think
Maybe you saw,
Probably not

Sun!
My purple is back,
Gold, fills in
Rosy cheeks, painted feet
And he is so good
The beach,
You and me
May, July
The best in between
Streets, how you cradle me
I'm just filling up with the electric chords and drum beats
Nini, Nani, my Sophie
My babies
I love these

These bees
And this ink machine
Rumbling,
And the rattle never comes
But I wait for it
Come cut the gray screen from me,
The prettiest scissors I've ever seen
But oh, the bees
They, yes, rumble me
"You're okay,"
I hope today's the day
But my LA is full of rain
And so is its gold girl,
It's scene
It's party queen

There was an apple
Of ruby and gold
In a town of pigeons, young and old
It was sad, and wanted love
But all the pigeons had to think with,
Were stones
They jumped and flapped,
For they couldn't see
Just how precious a golden apple could be
