I want the freedom of the open air,
Traveling a path so rare,
The caressing of the wind,
The ocean spray soaks in.

Across the liquid glass we glide,
Underneath, a beautiful world to hide,
I want the beauty of a cloudless sky,
The city chaos, I kiss goodbye.

The murmur of a motor drum,
Inside my heart, I hear its hum.
Suddenly I hear it stop,
The bow begins to drop.

The sun has risen from the sea,
I've safely made it through my flee.

Do you remember who you were?
Are you proud of who you are?
How much pain can you endure,
Before it leaves a scar?
The choices you have made,
You’ve lost your innocence,
Your identity will fade.
You’re left to reminisce.

An old, forgotten picture,
Reminds you that you’re human.
Maybe you’re not a fixture,
That’s why you always ran.

Although you can’t escape,
From what’s running deep within,
You can cut across the tape,
That's bound you to your sin.

For every step you take
A footprint’s left behind,
Our past we cannot fake,
But our future path is blind.

Pick me up from this empty station,
As I wait for the midnight train,
Rescue me from this desolation,
Wake me up again,
Send me to a new destination,
I'll ride alone till then.

I'm a wheel; I keep on spinning.
Searching for a new beginning.
I've traveled every road,
I've carried every load,
Take a ride on me,
So you can see,
What I can see.
The world seems so smooth,
When you're always on the move.

Who's to say we mean the most,
When we are only parasites' host?
Our intelligence will be our demise,
We are destruction wrapped in disguise.

Little sparks waver from the flame,
Though the central force  remains the same.
You can extinguish the fire with shots and smashes,
Yet what remains but smoke and ashes?
