I'm looking for a woman
She's creative, childish and caring
She's sharing, daring, and doesn't mind me staring

She's who I talk to
Complain to
Laugh with
Love with
She is my Support

Whats that? 2014? See you in the future kid
(exit future me)

As I lie in the dark
My mind wanders
Drifting from place to place
from thought to thought
It strays into the valley of death
and I Know I'm gone

My breath becomes heavy and ragged
My body too small to hold me
A sharp pain in my head
A scream escapes my mouth
My limbs thrash, violently

I feel the pain
The world returns
I look at the clock

Sigh
Close my eyes
And my mind wanders

Movies ******
Not people
But innocence

They send you into the world
Thinking that justice always prevails
Good always vanquishes evil
The nice guy always gets his dream girl
The underdogs always win

Then you grow up
and realize that these are movie subjects
because they are the exception and not the rule
Thats when a little piece of you dies
And the movies got away with another ******

A poem a day keeps the doctor away
or in business

I'm sitting here at my desk
It's 5 in the morning
And i suppress a yawn
Should I lay and rest?
It's very nearly dawn

My eyes are getting heavy
I know its almost time
But I doubt i'm ready
To battle with my mind

I can think about the future
Ponder on the past
In the end it doesn't matter
You invade my mind
Like a shotgun blast

Is it you or is it I?
That lets you in at night
I'm sure your bark is bigger than your bite
or is that another lie?

I guess it doesn't matter
How you came to be
All that really matters
Is what you do to me

I feel claustrophobic
in my own skin
And the contradiction
of being warn and thin

My heart is a hammer
Trying to break through
As I begin to tremble
I MUST find something to do

It frightens me to no end
What a single thought can do
What is death to you?

— The End —
