My Nature
Brian Lundeen Mar 2010
I'm just a big fluffy cloud blowing away
I may try on any shape but it's not here to stay
I'm living with the ghosts of the selves I thought i'd be
Is this the best thing thing you thought you had say to me?

When you are ready for the strawberry fields forever
The wooden ships will carry us there together
And you'll see the days between have been contrived
And in truth my dreams have still survived

I'm Gonna Watch You Fly
Brian Lundeen Mar 2010
Some things are falling apart
Other stuff's coming together
Some things don't take long
and other ones last forever

But where are we now
As the wheel spins around
And the arrow points finally
Where we'll be found

Our heart tells us there is a key
To knowing which way to go
The language of emotion
Speaks the words we need to know

They can't take this away from you
And you can't give it back
The key that opens the door
The wheel that's on the track

They're trying to tell you right is wrong
I'm just trying to sing this song
Glad to be of some inspiration
If you give me a dollar I'll go on vacation

You're the one that's going to make it
I can see you try
I've got the feeling and I can't shake it
I'm gonna watch you fly

B major in Hempology
Brian Lundeen Mar 2010
Give me some time to take my mind off of the world
Give me a minute to watch the sunshine swirl
I've been too long doing the grind at the mill
Can't run, can't walk and I can't stand still

I've gotten lucky and I know that it's true
I took it real easy and I'm still getting through
I've done my best to do my best and now it's finally just enough
I've got to tune out the rest of that other stuff

Beyond Every Wonder
Brian Lundeen Mar 2010
I can hear every wonder calling out my name
It peals just like thunder crashing
Drowning out the pouring rain

Says I'm gone,  gone beyond.
Beyond beyond where I belong
I never really used to hear it before
Now I'm standing with my foot in the door
A little taste just keeps you wanting for more

Because I can hear every wonder, everyone
Calling out my name
And it peals just like thunder crashing
Drowning out the pouring rain,

Says come on, come along
We're going beyond beyond, we may belong
Listened hard but couldn't hear it before
Now I'm standing with my foot in the door
A little taste just keeps you wanting for more
