Death
Brandon Manning Feb 2013
Death.. it's just another path. One we must all take.
When you've left the world behind and embraced your fate.
The journey from there on forth is mysterious at best.
You don't go North, South, East or West.
You slip into darkness, as it turns into light.
When the beating your your chest stops, you know it'll be alright.
Fear may grip you but go forth towards serenity.
This world may of held back when there... there will always be plenty.
The time fades away as it is a thing of your past.
Walk forward as you find peace, forever. At last.

Watch, as it passes.
Brandon Manning Feb 2013
See, I sit here,
With an open mind.
And I feel fear,
Travel up my spine.
Because I don’t know,
Where my path will go.
And I suppose,
I won’t  ever know.
As the time fly’s bye,
I close my eyes.
And I ask myself why
I just sit through the time.
When time is fake?
It’s just something I choose to take.
I take it slowly. As it passes.
I try to watch.
Just like watching the grasses,
It’s all I can do,
That's what I've been told.
To know what is true,
I sit, watch, as it unfolds.

Mother Earth be Heard
Brandon Manning Feb 2013
Dawn turns to dusk.
Dusk turns to dawn.
Wind blows the dust,
through the clouds the light shone.
Through a valley of reeds,
with the snow fresh on the ground.
I felt all the worlds needs,
on a level so profound.
Around me she slept,
while her children lived their lives.
She's dying from their neglect.
Through her passing we thrive.
Our intention be pure, as we want only the best.
Only few search for a cure as her health digress.
Let her pleads be heard in the places she weeps.
Where oil covers the birds, and through rocks the pollution seeps.
The industry grow wild as we tear apart her skin.
Your Earths child too but her patience grow thin.
